We have a great stay in the Kennedy room. Room was large, well decorated and spotless. The staff member we dealt with was so accommodating making us an ice bucket and calling us a taxi and etc. It is situated in such a lovely street in the centre of ayr.

Beaches is a small family-run guest house featuring a large private garden with gated access to Ayr’s sandy beach. It's set just 5 minutes’ walk from Ayr’s centre with its shopping, dining, and nightlife.

We stayed in the sea view room which is huge and has the most comfortable super king bed. Jan the host is very warm and does a great breakfast with plenty of variety, even for vegetarians.

We had a lovely stay at By The Sea Guest House. The accommodations were cozy and we could easily walk to shops, restaurants and the ocean. The hosts, Julie and Wilson were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. It was a lovely and delicious start to the day. We would definitely recommend the bed and breakfast and hope to return someday!

A warm welcome awaits you at this privately owned 4-star hotel, a fully restored and refurbished Victorian mansion house situated on Ayr's seafront, recapturing the essence of country house hospitality.

Our stay was excellent as the property has oversized rooms with views of the Coast. There was a large indoor swimming pool with hot tub and sauna as well as a nice workout area.

Boasting panoramic views over the Clyde to the Isle of Arran, and only 5-minutes’ walk from Ayr town centre, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base from which to explore the beauty of Ayrshire.

The hotel is a highly recommended choice for golf breaks, with over 30 superb courses in the Ayrshire area. If you want a break from the golf course, the hotel’s location is also close to many attractions, including Ayr's long sandy beach and a large play park.

Hotel was older (as in vintage) but clean and the proprietor was incredibly nice and accommodating (no pun intended). We had a diverted flight from Ireland to Scotland and had booked a room at 2am so very inconvenient to the hotel, but not only did they get us booked in quickly, scrounged for fruit first is you ready since we were starving... Much appreciated! 👍👍👍👍

Beautifully maintained and very clean. Booked a single room but was upgraded to a lovely spacious double. Fabulous finishing touches such as real coffee and fresh milk and cookies in the room. Large bath towels provided which is a rarity. Breakfast great choices with excellent coffee. Great value for money and would definitely book again if visiting the area.

Great location, lovely friendly staff. Good size room, very clean. Amazing shower and large fluffy towels. Bed was comfortable but let down by pillows which were hard. Had lunch and breakfast at the hotel, food was nice. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Pool area could do with some TLC, paintwork needing once over and jacuzzi not in operation.

Brilliant stay for the night just to relax. Bit creepy walking in with no staff about, but ideal and so easy to get in and get comfy. Communication was fantastic, as well as the app and the instructions within the room. Everything was clean and comfy. Jacuzzi bath was great.
