We have a great stay in the Kennedy room. Room was large, well decorated and spotless. The staff member we dealt with was so accommodating making us an ice bucket and calling us a taxi and etc. It is situated in such a lovely street in the centre of ayr.

We had a lovely stay at By The Sea Guest House. The accommodations were cozy and we could easily walk to shops, restaurants and the ocean. The hosts, Julie and Wilson were so kind and helpful. Hotel was older (as in vintage) but clean and the proprietor was incredibly nice and accommodating (no pun intended). We had a diverted flight from Ireland to Scotland and had booked a room at 2am so very inconvenient to the hotel, but not only did they get us booked in quickly, scrounged for fruit first is you ready since we were starving...
