It's in an amazing location, quiet and has all the comforts one could think of for a short-to-long stay. Located 180 metres above the Tegernsee Lake, this hotel offers an unique panorama view of the Tegernsee Lake and the surrounding mountains. It features a garden and rooms include a private balcony or terrace.

The view over the lake was stunning, both from the room and from the breakfast room terrace. The room was cozy, well-appointed and charmingly Bavarian in style. Best of all: the receptionist, a young man who made it a point to speak your language (he surprised me with how good his Spanish was) and absolutely helpful, mailing us some stuff we forgot in the room. To top it all off, breakfast was also very good. I definitely recommend this place which, although a bit strenous to get to on foot from the lake below, is definitely worth every cent.

the hotel lies in a hill overseeing the lake with hiking trails going in and out to the mountains from it. The Spa was great as well as the dining experience in their restaurant. We visited for our honeymoon and the staff left a very special detail in our room which was very much appreciated.
