The hotel is very centrally located but quiet. The hotel is a historic building with great character. The bedroom was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was very clean with a good shower, plenty of instant hot water and well designed.

The building and interior are kept up really great, and the owners took exceptional care of ensuring that the decoration gives the exceptional extra flair. The owners were really forthcoming and always ensuring that the stay was great and ready to give additional information about Lübeck and the surrounding area. Full disclosure: we ended up getting lucky and getting a room upgrade

Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, clean and also well-appointed. The restaurant was first class; the wine list and the food were outstanding, as were the serving staff - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The receptionist at the front of house was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. All in all a great stay, highly recommended and well worth another visit. The breakfast was plentiful and well laid out. A great start to the day..
