What a lovely hotel! We really liked the garden area that had a gazebo, outdoor seating, friendly cats and fish in the fountain. Our large double room was more like a living space, with a nicely appointed kitchenette for cooking a little something to eat along with having a nice glass of wine, beer, etc. Conveniently located to transportation, shops (including a nice Weinhandlung) and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Great location, not far from the central area in one direction and plenty of lively, reasonably priced restaurants in the opposite direction towards the new synagogue. The rooms were well equipped, good views from the higher floors and an excellent lounge area with food and drink on the 7th floor. The restaurant was superb and the breakfast was outstanding.

코너 룸이라 창이 많고 넓어서 좋았음 방 구석구석의 디테일에 많은 신경을 썼다는 것을 느낄 수 있음 조식의 퀄리티와 맛도 훌륭했음 건물도 크지 않고 엘레베이터는 낡았지만 사람이 붐비지 않아서 좋음 New year's Eve 디너를 예약했는데 아주 좋은 경험이었음 직원들이 무척 친절하고 매너가 좋았음 피트니스 센터의 장비가 훌륭했고, 음료와 수건, 이어폰 및 다과 등이 준비 되어 있는 것도 좋았음 수영복을 깜빡해서 이용하지는 못했지만 사우나 시설 또한 괜찮아 보임

We were staying in the hotel for 5 days in October 2023. It was a family trip, combined with a business trip. We were with a child aged 3 y/o in the hotel. The hotel was outstanding. The location is just a few blocks away from one of the most famous sightseeing sites in Berlin - Checkpoint Charlie, and just 20 meters away from the underground station (metro). The transportation to and from the hotel was easy as you like. There are a lot of coffee shops and bakeries around, so even if you don't have breakfast included (we didn't), you have the chance to choose from a lot of things. There is a supermarket in a mall, like 100 meters away, REWE and Penny, you could even do some daily shopping. In the hotel building, just downstairs on the parter, there is one of the most famous Berlin and German restaurants - Maximilian's. The restaurant is with great traditional German cuisine and of course - great German beer. The staff is very friendly, even though they are not 24/7 on site. But they are very likely to help you via phone call. Our child was feeling great, because the room was extraordinary large, like an apartment. There was 2 big separate rooms with little kitchen, big hall with separately bathroom and WC. You have so much space for everything. And also you have a little balcony, which you can go out on and have some fresh air or a cigarette. Also the rooms are kept very clean.

The Mandala in Berlin was our absolute favorite stay of our entire 2 weeks in Germany. The room was tidy and so so so comfortable, there were days we contemplated staying in instead of going out, it was that good. Shout out to Gerson at the front desk who was incredibly helpful and pleasant and always went above and beyond to assist us. A lot of restaurants and shopping around the hotel and we truly cherished our Berlin stay at The Mandala. 100/10 would recommend!

Stayed here a few times now, just a perfect choice for Berlin, good all round in every way. Definitely a great blue print for how great accommodation should be! I will definitely be back!
