Excellent menu, preparation, and presentation of the evening meals all three days. Also, an extensive wine list. Overall, the restaurant for the evening meals was very good and a good value. Breakfast was suitable but not above average. I seem to recall an extra charge for an egg cooked to order.

Specifically "Located in the car-free Fex Valley, Hotel Chesa Pool is a 20-minute walk from Sils Maria through a partly steep forest path. We offer a free shuttle service from Sils to the hotel 5 times a day at fixed hours and with previous reservation. Shuttle rides outside our fixed times are possible at a fee and depending on availability. The hotel occupies a historic Engadine-style building and offers rooms with mountain views. The restaurant only serves vegetarian and vegan specialities.

Free WiFi is available in public areas. Guests can relax on a sun terrace, in the library or and in the rustic Chamineda Restaurant.
