The view and room were both fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and the food (we ate in the bar both nights - the burger is fantastic) was very good. The walk up to the hotel is nice, if a bit steep, but there is a funicular available.

The one staff member was very helpful and quite a servant! The room and the bed were large and comfortable. Don't be turned off by the fact that it's far from Luzern; a busstop is right next to the hotel (literally) and is only about 15 mins into town where it also stops by the train station. You don't have to walk much at all given this. We really enjoyed the sit down breakfast that was included! Selection may have been smaller than some hotels I had been to, but it was clearly more fresh and "homey" than other places.

The rooms were very cute and clean. Newly renovated. They were very kind to accommodate early check in for us. We were travelling with children and it was very cold. They helped us with the self check in too, we were facing some problem with it though it was very simple to do. They also stored our luggage on the last day while we spent some time more in the City. It was an amazing stay. The location of the hotel is superb. They are right on the banks of the river. The top floor room window has beautiful view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. 10 on 10 from us. We loved our stay here.

The location is very good, around 5-6 minutes walk to the train station The room is much bigger than I thought and it's quite comfortable, like the decoration of the room :)
