OK, this hotel was amazing! The front desk used google street maps to walk us through the city center to recommend 6 resturants (we went to two, both were amazing), and then walked each of us to our rooms. The rooms were mini-apartments, nine overlooking the fountain in the street. This is the place to stay in Mons

The rooms were very comfortable, very clean and decorated with pieces of furniture from the house. Our room had a lovely attached bathroom. It would be best to have your own car if staying here, but we did find a restaurant that is walkable for dinner (about 20 mins along a country lane).

Our hosts were most welcoming, and the room was full of character and so clean (as was the whole house). The ample breakfast was wonderfully presented in the lovely dining room. A real gem of a stay, and if relaxation is your aim, then this is just the place to get it.

The room temperature was really easy to control and we slept really well. Staff were very helpful when a t-shirt fell out of my partners bag, they took the time to seek us out & return it. Parking was also great, secure and off street.
