The entrance, stairs, walls, balcony, elevator etc are built like a stone, not paper built like modern ‘exclusive’ hotels. Great, quiet location, free parking, nice breakfast and kind staff. A great place to stay for a couple or family in Medjugorje. The pension is about 1 km from the church (15 min walk). There is a store and several restaurants in close vicinity. Pension Ivan is run by wonderful and very kind people - Mirjana and Dalibor. Breakfasts were excellent and very rich. From the balcony, you can see Križevac mountain and Apparition Hill. Highly recommended!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lady at the front desk helped me find transportation for 8 to Mostar and it was reasonably priced. She gave us a very warm greeting and was also there to send us off. We felt like part of the family. We had two hotel rooms side by side and it was like staying in an enchanted forest. The restaurant had good food.
