Breakfast was a big disappointment with very limited choices. Not even a knife plastic or otherwise to spread butter and jam. When asked about it the lady disappeared and never reappeared during breakfast. Our only complaint.

The rooms are well furnished and equipped with small touches the chains do not have. Nicely decorated.

Only complaint were the hotel seemed understaffed. The breakfast room needed attention, and no one was around...no milk for the cereal, and many of the items were running low with no staff in site. And it took longer than it should have to get extra towels for the hot tub, as none were in the spa area. Expect better for $200 a night.

Clean, comfortable, newish facility. Hot tub was the perfect temperature. Safe and convienient. Nice place to stay for the Tulip Festival, easily accessible to La Conner and the fields, without the Mt. Vernon/I-5 traffic.

Desk closes at 9:00, so if you might arrive after 9:00, you need to make prior arrangements by submitting a form with a photo of your driver's license and credit card. This was quite a hassle from the motel room the night before. I checked my email the next afternoon, and didn't see any confirmation that access was set up. Turned out it was, but we arrived at 8:30 and didn't need it. The woman at the desk was very nice and it sounded like she runs the hotel with her husband and not much hired help, so longer desk coverage is difficult. We were pretty put off prior to arrival, but would consider staying there again now that we better know the deal. The bathroom needed better cleaning -- there were hairs on the bathroom wall.

Breakfast was simple but fine, cereal, English muffins, toast, yogurt (which was really good), and drinks. Didn't have a chance to use the spa or gym (open 7am to 9 pm). Room small but nice enough - cozy.

The doors to the rooms don't soft close, so it's very loud every time someone shuts their door. The breakfast bar was just ok.

Super clean; the room had everything we needed, and we had a view of the bay.

The breakfast buffet was laughable. Boiled eggs were not hot but cold; how many days ahead were they cooked? Spartan dinning.

The in room coffee was tasty. The coffee at breakfast was not. Beds were really comfortable and had the best pillows (beats The Heavenly Bed...but just!). Draught beer at front desk.

Bed sagged in the middle and was very hard. We were on the 3rd floor and the sound of the room above us flushing the toilet was very loud.

Breakfast did not meet expectations. If I were you, I wouldn't advertise having breakfast and maybe partner with a local diner. You could provide a coupon or something. Building seems slightly understaffed though the hotel is rather small. Cleaning lady walked in on my wife at 830am after I went down to explore the breakfast offerings.

Location was great, awesome view of the water. Check-in process was quick and easy.

The hot tub was exposed to the freezing air so it was not the most welcoming during the winter.

The view from our room was amazing!!!! The room was clean and simple, not cluttered. We would recommend friends or family stay here and we would stay here again if we need a hotel in Aancortes.

Booking stated bath in room - instead what we received was ADA room with walk in shower. To me bath equals bathtub. Continental breakfast is minimal. Ends at 9 am. Summer duvet was too light. Room wouldn’t heat

We both wish the protective panels around the outdoor hot tub went all the way down to the floor. The morning we used it, the wind was blowing strong right across our heads as we sat in the tub and looking out eye level with the streets, cars, trucks, & older structures around this facility was not exactly appealing. Panels to the floor would give more privacy, block the wind & obscure the street sites without removing the outside element of the tub. Apparently the designer/installer didn’t think that through from a users perspective.

Friendly staff, very nice room, comfortable king bed, nice continental breakfast, hot tub was operational, close to downtown eats & our music event.
