Honesty and access to communication when things didn’t align with the promotion

Breakfast was a joke. I was told by booking .com I could cancel at no cost. Not true. So I had to stay tho I would have NOT otherwise! No indication pets not welcome. Because I could NOT cancel I also had to pay additional pet fee! When I tried to reach booking .com, none of the ‘provided’ access means were working. I doubt that I will ever use booking . com again AND I will tell my friends and family NOT TO USE IT

The property is definitely outdated and when we first got to our room the toilet handle was hanging out and the water continuously ran all weekend in the toilet.

The property is in a great location to walk to everything.

Our beds needed updating. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The price of the room was overly inflated for Labor Day!! $266.00😳

While it was the cheapest property on that side of the bridge the lack of ANYTHING is a little silly. No Microwave (come on those are cheap). Smallest TV ever (think 90’s computer monitors). Telephone in the room- doesn’t actually have a cord… it’s just hanging out there. Cobwebs everywhere. The coffee provided in the room didn’t actually match the coffee maker. the coffee in the Lobby was a light beige (maybe a teaspoon of coffee to a gallon of water.) ZERO effort is made at this Hotel to actually provide guest accommodation.

Location is perfect for getting around the area. Space was surface clean.

The toilet was duty, there were spider webs and one of the chairs had a big stain. I did not like it.

The TV was confusing since there were two remotes, and it didn’t work very well; it took about three seconds to change the channel each time. The wifi let us join with the password, but then it never actually worked.

We liked having our own door to the parking lot where we were able to park very close. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! We liked that there was a table with two chairs. We could technically see the lake from our window, even if it wasn’t a huge view. The inn was about a block down the street from a really nice park with a splash pad and boardwalk out to a lighthouse. There’s a nice restaurant there too, as well as a double-decker bus turned into an ice cream stand.

The breakfast was a mini muffin, toast and yogurt. Not much to offer. The rooms needed updating, smelt mold and they didn’t have enough towels and wash rags for my second night. For a Saturday and Sunday I paid $340 and thought that was a little steep for condition of the room.

Very dated hotel especially the bathroom with tiles missing and the suspended ceiling sagging terribly, ceiling fan was extremely full of caked on dust and carpeting very old and dirty. Bed was comfortable and for one night it was ok
