Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe beds and furniture were cheap and the comfort level was affected by this. A nicer sofa and bed toppers would remedy this. Not the fault of the property owner, it's just a part of being in a rural area, but the internet connection isn't great, just as an FYI for anyone needing to get some work done.
We had a great time at the cabin. Great proximity to Mt. Rainier, clean, quiet, plenty of room.

United States of AmericaEverything was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!
Very cozy and clean. Hot tub amazing after hiking at Mt Rainier. Laundry appreciated! Some condiments, spices and incidentals were on site which was great when traveling via plane. Styrofoam cooler for day trips in park. Staff very receptive to questions as to where to get groceries on the way to the house since we were from out of state. Highly recommend and have already refer to friends who are hoping to get to Mount Rainier next year!

United States of AmericaThe neighborhood was a bit odd, especially the closest property, although the property itself is very nice. The upstairs bathroom had no curtain, as there were trees obstructing a view in, but we would have preferred a curtain. It would have been even better if the hot tub water were a few degrees warmer. Some of the information in the binder was outdated (one of the recommended restaurants was permanently closed).
The house was clean. The hot tub was nice, especially after long days of hiking. There was plenty of room for 4 of us. The washer & dryer were easy to use, as well as convenient.

United States of AmericaMy husband and I were not able to get onto the wifi, although on the last morning it worked for one of us. Was it an issue of lower case/upper case? The other couple thought the upstairs bed was too soft for comfort, but I know that is always a personal preference. Our bed was fine. The cabin's yard area still needs some aesthetic work to be truly a comfortable place to hang out, but it was not really an issue for us, since we were inside when we were here and out hiking during the day. I didn't feel quite comfortable walking around the area by myself in the early morning, but again, we were busy out in the beautiful nature during the day anyway.
We loved the roominess and cleanliness of the cabin. The kitchen was very nice, and worked well for us. What a treat to have the large refrigerator. It was a very quiet neighborhood, just a few miles from the entrance to the park. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. There is even a washer and dryer, which we did not use.

United States of AmericaNot enough pillows for everyone. The pillows on the beds were thin. The hot tub water was cloudy and smelled off.
The house feels recently remodeled and well stocked. The space was comfortable for our group of 6.

United States of AmericaThe beds were not my thing, a bit too wobbly and soft, but I got my necessary sleep. The house had a few quirks which I will not ding it for too much but you may want to know: + The Wifi works but the backing internet connection threw me right back to the dialup from the 90s. At times I had no chance loading any modern webpage. You know where the pictures load line by line but worse: Not loading at all. It's backed by satellite, so there is that … + The downstairs bedroom wall is also where the pipes from the upstairs bedroom lead. Insulation is non-existent, so you have a nice waterfall sound to fall asleep to whenever somebody uses the upstairs bathroom. + There is a lot of vacation homes there just like this one but it is also your atypical backcountry with the corresponding few houses and odd neighbors in between. Nobody who was any problem, in fact everybody I ran into was super nice but your milage may vary, the culture shock my be real ;) + Grocery selection in the area is naturally limited so bring what you need or make due with what you can find around. Restaurant selection is limited but the ones that are there are experiences. In a positive way. + Nature! Silence! Nature! I was there in the summer so depending on season you may have to be prepared for what nature has to offer in terms of circumstances. That may be a plus or a minus depending on what you are here for. + I will come again! Despite the quirks. But now I know 100% what I am getting.
Compact, modernly remodeled house in the woods only minutes away from THE mountain This house was exactly what we needed. No more than 5-10 minutes away from the Mt. Rainier National Park entrance (barring backup at the entrance). 2 cozy bedrooms. Nice living room/dining room/kitchen area to entertain and enjoy each others company. Extra bed in the upstairs hallway was a bit odd, but I guess usable where necessary. Washer/Dryer, stove, microwave, fridge and all to make this a complete home for you to use which is great as well. The outdoor area is great as well with lots of space for at least two cars if needed. A Hot Tub we didn't use but it is there and covered. Outdoor entertainment area and a fire place.

United States of AmericaMy only concern was the bed in the bedroom downstairs. The mattress was firmer and not a lot there. I prefer my beds just a bit softer and the mattress to have more support. But this is subjective thing and I understand that. one burner on the stove did not ignite. But that was easily worked around. the manager said he will address this quickly. I really enjoyed my stay there. I would stay again but not sleep in the downstairs bed.
The location and the price was excellent. the customer service out of this world.

CanadaA heads up that the prices for groceries are very expensive in Ashford and the other small towns close to Mt. Rainier National Park. The property is set up for cooking, so just a tip to do your grocery shopping before you arrive in the area.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the little touches too. There were toys, books and puzzles for the kids, as well as a first aid kit and small medecine cabinet. It was also nice that they laid out some toileteries for guests, in case you don't have them, such as new toothbrushes, etc. The host was also very responsive with any questions we had. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub in the evennings after days spent hiking Mt. Rainier.
