Hostel staff quickly answer questions on the chat. I arrived early at the hostel and I was kindly allowed to check-in. The facilities are excellent.

I couldn't charge my laptop on the station above my bed, because the US adapter was too big to fit inbetween. Didn't learn until the day of departure that there was also a kitchen (didn't get an overview which facilities are where in the hostel). Lots of kids who make noise and can in general be very excited about being in NY, it seemed. It all depends on with whom you're sharing the room which is a lottery and hostel cannot do anything about it.

In general, a very decent place to stay. Excellent location, clean facilities, good wifi connection. Curtain to separate beds was much appreciated.

The beds could have been sturdier as every time someone would walk past my bed, it would shake and wake me up. The same happened when the person sleeping under me was switching sides - very frustrating. The elevator was very slow. The rooms should've had more outlets! I stayed in room 331 and it was extremely frustrating that the beds did not have individual outlets!

The facilities were clean, the cafe downstairs was very convenient and the overall atmosphere was great! Events and tours were a nice extra.

I thought the bathroom too far from my room, it had a sticky smell and was too hot, otherwise it was good.

The rooms are big and the building too, the lockers have lots of space.

The refrigerator was full of left behind food from guests. Full of "free food" which occupied a lot of space and sometimes some food were rotten, which turned out disgusting. The refrigerator should be cleaned by the housekeeping once a week at least. But in general it was a great great Hostel, with lots of activities, comfortable beds, nice workers, nice housekeepers, and very clean.

The hosts were very kind and all the spaces were comfortable and spacious, they offered lots of nice and fun activities.

Some rooms didn’t have curtains and the shower was cold or you takes a lot of time to heat the water. So you need to use your towel to have privacy in the room and to take a cold showers. Also, there was a lot of noise in other rooms during the night.

Some nights can be really expensive , even if it s NYC it is still a dormitory (without curtains) where you are never sure to be able to sleep , depends on your roomates , I advise you to book it in advance

Food shop, patio, comedy show, kitchen, quiet area far from the centre but close to the subway and central park, nice showers , water refill , wifi , big locker, bed quite comfy, allowed to people over 35, charger station

The elevator is kind of slow and there are no stairs. Be especially careful with the usb charging ports, they charge very slowly (I woke up in the morning and the battery increased like 5%)

+ I like the location. It’s very near to Central Park, so I can do running easily. Also close to the station/subway. + The bedroom, bathroom and the bed is very clean and comfy. I had nice sleep

Nice location, perfect for a one night stay. It is very close to the train station and the bus coming from La Guardia drops you off a few blocks away.
