How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Probably a little old building but comfortable enough.

The gym was ok but not great but sufficient. Breakfast was handy but not memorable.
The staff were very helpful, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Its position was very convenient for all of the Washington attractions and some nice restaurants too.

In my opinion, it is a bit overpriced but I was there during the Cherry Blossom Festival so that could be the reason
Location is great, rooms are spatious and clean, beds are very comfortable, TV has every channel you can think of (even Netflix) and reception shop has everything you need (in case you’ve forgotten somthing)

The valet parking situation was slightly inconvenient but we understand it’s in a downtown area. Other than that, we had a great experience and a memorable trip.

A few things were a little frustrating. The view from our room was a dumpster (which was fine since we were there just to sleep and only stayed 1 night), the valet parking garage was full when we arrived which was annoying because there were multiple sporting events happening. We didn’t pay in advance for parking because it wasn’t an option through this 3rd party, so we ended up having to self park a block away. (Which was much cheaper anyway)
The location was great for our purpose. We were in town to catch a basketball game and it was a quick 5ish min walk over to the Capital One arena. The breakfast was great and the beds were very comfortable.

Hard to get into with traffic. The TV when looking for something to watch didn’t go with what was told would be on the channel. At one time changing the tv there was a noise in back of tv when changing the channel. Was a slight smell in the lobby.

Very close; 5 minute walk to convention attending; staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, Rooms were clean ( a little small ) but that didn’t matter much. Yes you pay for daily parking, but, you call them when you need to step out.. they bring the car to the front entrance.. and you bring it back for them to park. Included in the parking fee! That was cool especially when you’re on the run. Overall amazing stay and we plan to continue booking whenever in the area in the future!! Oh I didn’t mention the FREE BREAKFAST!! Kids were HAPPY! They opened early enough for them to eat before we walked over to our convention center. Make your own waffle maker, toppings, all the good breakfast food!

The reception / bar / breakfast area were under renovation which we weren’t aware of when we booked, but that was a small issue. The property was well located in terms of getting out and about, but it was very very noisy due to road traffic noise, especially emergency service sirens. The glazing needs to be updated.

A good jawn
It was a good stay, posting this for information purpose. Mainly went to go to watch the Wizards game & it was only a 5 minute walk so that was a plus. They charge $100 security deposit per night just for the people wondering. & It’s a parking lot across the street that’s cheaper then what the hotel charge. It was nice & clean. Didn’t stay for breakfast or anything.

Valet parking drop off area was quite limited. I haven’t used valet parking much, so maybe this is typical. Lobby was small, under construction, so maybe this was a temporary problem that will be improved upon with the ongoing construction
Cleanliness, super staff, valet parking worked well, despite the area being a bit congested. Nice breakfast , that was continuously refreshed even though it was quite busy
