Very clean and very near downtown. Staff was very nice. Only drawback no coffee in office. Fie the very economical price we completely understood no breakfast.

This hotel was perfect for us due to it's location. We had a goodnight even though the railroad tracks were right behind our room. We hardly heard anything. We were able to walk to a restaurant.

The place is slightly shabby and if you want luxury this is not the place but really there was nothing not to like for me.

Old fashioned

The motel was in a good location, nothing fancy about the place, Felt safe, beds were comfortable, The Heater/ AC ran all night and was a bit noisy and I didn’t mine the train passing or whistle blowing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Booked a single bed because that was what was offered, requested a double bed when I checked in and was given one , she was happy to accommodate me.

The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious and recently renovated. We needed a property just off the interstate, and this motel was perfect. One drawback - traffic noise, but the bed was very comfortable, and the noise only seemed to be in the very early AM.

The color scheme is not much of a scheme and that's as critical as I can be. Trains were audible while I was awake but didn't keep me awake or wake me up. No chain latch/security lock on door

We didn’t have any towel racks in our room so keeping things tidy was a little tricky.

It is very clean inside and well maintained on the outside. Good parking and good access to the Main Street. The heater works great on chilly nights and mornings.

The bed was the best bed i ve slept in in weeks,, The room was amazingly quiet. There is a railroad near by but you never even hear it in the room,, I was met almost immediately at 11:00 and was expeditiously checked in .

The AC was turned off in the room and it took about 2 hours to cool it down. I'll call ahead and ask them to turn it on prior to my arrival for this my 3rd visit. Everything else was great.

Quiet, comfortable, and clean. The motel is located on the Bus I H 10 about a mile from the main highway and was close to many eating establishments. Large parking area.

Very comfortable room. Clean, decent size, decent bathroom though the sink was kind of small and lacking in a place to hang the towels. No big deal though, still a decent bathroom. Nice big shower. The Bed was comfortable and decent internet and TV. Microwave and Fridge. Ice machine worked fine. For the price, Desert Inn stacks up to many hotels/motels that I have paid a lot more for. It is obvious that owner/manager takes pride in what they do.
