Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bed was older and creaked loudly whenever you moved. It probably doesn't help that I'm a bit above the average weight class. But it was comfortable. Just loud. Speaking of loud, the first night was really quiet but the second night a last minute booking came and they didn't quite grasp the concept of "shared space". I was woken up several times by conversations. This is not the fault of Sherry or Keith, but it is worth noting if the other guests aren't polite you will hear them.
The things that stood out the most from this place were the owners/hosts, Sherry & Keith, the amazing breakfasts, and - last but not least - Dozer the dog. The place is close to a lot of activities that we didn't have time to check out and the house/yard is perfect for a weekend getaway. But again, Sherry as hostess made everything worthwhile. There was a personal touch you just don't get from a traditional chain hotel. If you are not a fan of conversation and just want to sleep somewhere and then move along, this is not for you. This place is for those who want to feel like you are guests or family members, not just customers. Oh, and did I mention Dozer? The official greeter and receiver of belly rubs.

United States of AmericaThe hosts were extremely welcoming and gave us a small tour and history lesson about the property. The property and decor exuded a home away from home vibe. The breakfast was a delicious parfait with fresh fruit, granola, and a berry muffin on the side. We went during the week, so the breakfast was slightly smaller than what is available on the weekend. The hosts have a menu of breakfast options to pick from for weekend guests. Finally, our stay was brightened by the conversations with the hosts and the presence of their lovely little dog Dozer.

United States of AmericaIt was perfect! We loved it all! ❤️
This is the special home of two special people You are treated like royalty Anything you might need they will get it to you. ( within reason folks). Our space was very quiet, very clean very comfortable, and our continental breakfast out of this world. Sponsored Wichita coffee out of this world juice, Braums yogurt (!) and moist muffins Yummy! Absolutely the best! Loved our after breakfast conversations. Our innkeeper followed up to welcome our new pup How very thoughtful . This b&b is not pretentious, if you want to get that "homey" feel and a bit of love from darling doggie "Dozer" this is IT! I highly recommend 100^

United States of AmericaThe property didn’t really seem ready for us. The common areas were very dusty and cluttered. We had to hunt for necessary items like towels. None of the touted outdoor areas were ready for guests. The chairs and cushions were all stacked against the tables, the fire pit looked unavailable, and the porch area was in the process of being decorated with flags and such strewn about. The breakfast seemed like we got whatever was leftover from a previous hosting-4 plastic tubs of plain yogurt, 3 stale, filled croissants, one muffin and a bowl of tangerines with a few apples. They did provide a small pitcher of orange juice. They left 2 not full carafes of coffee. The 4 of us were able to have Just about one and a half cups of coffee each. The hosts seemed to want to be with us way too much. We all felt a little awkward that they did not pick up on our cues. There are so many possibilities with this property. We really wanted that wonderful bed and breakfast feeling, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We felt kind of like they just forgot we were coming. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here.
This was a beautiful old house in a great area near downtown Wichita. The hosts were proud of their house and liked to talk about it. Check in and communication with the host was was very easy .
