The hotel was undergoing renovations, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. As a result, the pool and several amenities were unavailable. Additionally, guests have reported that the hotel is overpriced, with numerous hidden fees. Some of these hidden fees include a complimentary breakfast for only one person per room, as well as an additional $30 charge per day for parking.

The location was satisfactory, being conveniently close to the center of activities. However, the pool was unavailable due to ongoing renovations. On the upside, the room was spacious and comfortable.

I think you should let guests know there is construction going on. Other than that it was a lovely (albeit quick) stay.

Loved the location and the style of the hotel. Our son is stationed in Key West and we very likely will stay at La Concha again.

It was under renovation and there was no mention of this on the website. If you were an early riser it really didn’t affect you as much, but the hammering began around 9 a.m. and was very disruptive. Arrived around 6 pm to check in and the initial impression of the staff was they didn’t want to help you. There reception desk is divided and the first line we got into the receptionist keep sending everyone to the other side when there was only 1 group of people in line. And the manner they spoke to everyone was disrespectful. Really began questioning how my stay was going to be.

I booked the hotel through www.booking.com and one price, (I have the records to PROVE this), and La Concho overcharged m from the agreed price by almost $1,900. Being a senior citizen this is definitely elder abuse. I've been trying to get this straightened out now for over 6 weeks! And no help from La Concha or the management at La Concha yet. Fact is they said it was the correct price, and again I sent La Concha PROOF of the agreed price for the hotel.

The food was not that good. I also would have liked to have had the pool staff start earlier on nice days and the hotel bar to stay open later.

There was a ton of renovations going on, coffee shop was closed, and when we went to the 4pm Mojito tasting the bartender told use we were too late and missed it, got to the bar at 4:03 p.m.

The rooms are old as can be! Super old furnisher in the rooms. I also had to walk quite a bit to get to my room, including a small set of stairs which was not fun with luggage. I didn't like not have ice machines near the room nor an ice bucket. I had to go to the lobby to get ice in a bag, which started melting shortly after I returned to the room.

The hotel is really nice, the staff was great and the location was even better than I expected. The check-in process was easy and fast, which was nice. Parking was easily accessible and too far a walk.
