Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Clean , spacious rooms with coffee/tea maker . Easy check in - out. Park at door, check in and drive across the street to garage parking for 15 dollars overnight. Right in the historical district and easy walk to all the wonderful places restaurants bars etc. that are nearby. Nice in house bar with food we didn't know about before our evening walk about, so didn't eat but had a drink on our return and was fun. Highly recommend.

I wish there was complimentary breakfast. Cleanliness of the room was just ok (some areas had visible dust- furniture and carpets, the toilet had some stains).
The location is great - in the historic district- and it's an easy walk to many restaurants and attractions downtown. Modern furnishings in hotel lobby and rooms.

Bathroom needs overhauling as there was mold in shower and bathroom floors were stained. Many people by front door smoking constantly.
Location was good and staff pleasant. Bartender was a great guy.

No bottled drinking water. Difficult finding favorite TV channels with the provided remote control. :)
Good location, near the Welcome Center. The room layout was nice. The bed very comfortable. Valet parking attendant was very good and professional. Staff was professional. Very clean hotel.

Parking was not free. However there was a garage across the street from hotel. Suggestion would be for them to offer a discount for their customers to park there. The restaurant downstairs was overly priced for the food. It took an hour to get one order and they ran out of one item in our order. However, the cook added an item to replace the missing one and there was a new cook so it is understandable.
The location was in walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable.

One of our pillows didn’t have a pillow case, the lighting in the suite was very dim. The bathroom was pretty clean but could have been cleaner, the floor wasn’t swept or mopped very well. The refrigerator wasn’t very cold.
Location was great, staff was very nice. Beds were comfortable. The room was mostly nice and clean.

No one informed us that there was a fee for an early check-in. There was a $25 fee noticed at checkout. We were in town for ST. Patrick's Day and could have waited to check in at three or four had we been informed of the fee.

Cleaning staff did not adequately do their job. They didn’t change our sheets the whole week or make the bed daily. Only emptied trash and picked up dirty towels. Did not restock coffee, cream or clean sinks, tub, toilet or replenish toilet paper. We had to go get our own daily.

Charged an early check in fee of $25 even though the room was ready and I was maybe 45 minutes early. On my credit card statement, it ended up being a $35 charge.

The water in the shower was cold and the next day was warm. The facet in the shower was leaking. The property wasn’t near any eating establishment. I know that’s not the property’s fault.

The disrepair of our room. Hook to hang towel was hanging off, dust on vent, refrigerator needed to have freezer cleaned, and furniture needed repaired. For the cost, all this should of been taken care of. We will not stay their again.
Since was not included in hotel price, we went else wear for breakfast.

The bathroom had about a 25 watt bulb and for two women travelling....it was very frustrating putting our faces on! Room and bathroom could use some paint and touch up. Because light in bathroom was dim,the hairdryer cord could not reach the mirror in the room. Just inconvenient.

Ricardo, I believe his name was, wa the valet. He dirtied my car with hus boots, and he left the car running while he was on the phone. All he had to do was take it down to the garage. Front desk was not friendly Cleveland was very good.
