The location was amazing. The cabins are very close together and the parking is convenient. The rooms could use a decorative upgrade but definitely comfortable and cute.

Living room/sitting area only had seating for 2 but the room was a space for 3. Not a deal breaker but we had to drag in a lawn chair for everyone to eat together.

The carpets felt grubby and the room was very dark ( 1000 lamps did not improve light)

The rooms are very small but no problem if you’re a couple. They do not allow for late check out which is pretty goofy and kept trying to get us out earlier to clean which I thought was rude

The only thing we did not like was the checkout time: 11AM. We asked for a later checkout, but we were told, "No." All the other places that we have stayed in Carmel and Monterey have accommodated our request for a later checkout.

The room was big and comfortable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Two TVs! Big room to relax and read and watch TV. Nice size bedroom and bed. We had a parking space and the hotel is in a great location in Carmel.

This is a very quaint and comfortable inn with private parking. That is a plus in Carmel! The location was excellent for walking downtown and it was quiet. The room was small but very comfortable. The bathroom was pretty small but good shower. We would definitely stay her again!

The room was very generic. Furniture was in poor condition. Room was clean but the bathroom floor needs floor grout cleaning. Makes it feel dirty.

Some sections of the room were dirty. For example, a guest must have sprayed a beverage on the inside of the room door. There were brown spots everywhere. The water pressure was poor. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet on takeoff. Some of the furniture is dated.

The staff was cordial. The inn is convenient to downtown Carmel. It's an attractive property. Parking was tight but right next to the room (#52). Clean towels were plentiful.

The room was so drab! Did not match the charm of the ivy covered cottage exterior. Walls were thin so noisy neighbors were a problem for one of the nights.

Everything was clean and pristine except the blinds on the front door. A couple pieces were broken and they looked old. All of the other faux wood blinds throughout the cottage were in perfect condition.

It was clean and quaint and in a perfect location close to shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Stevenson Cottage with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and had a parking spot right next to it. It was perfect.

The bathroom was a little dated, particularly the shower which was either very hot or cold. Check in was also a little vague, not much information given from the staff about the location or things to do.
