We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe pictures from Booking.com look better than the hotel look. It didn't feel safe. The entrance of the hotel hall doesn't look very uplifted. The whole hotel needs to be renovated. It was expensive for what it is. I didn't want to sit for breakfast as the space didn't feel inviting, so I took it to go.
The hotel is not too far from the historic downtown. Breakfast is included.

United States of AmericaThe attitude I received from a front desk employee when I asked for 2 towels was incredible. Mind you, there were only 2 "full size" towels from the start. The first room we were given, even though listed as "non-smoking" and we were told we'd be fined if the room smelled like cigarette smoke, smelled like an old stale ashtray, had a broken toilet seat, and a chair that was obviously stained with bodily fluid. The second room smelled better, but the exhaust system grille in the bathroom had some type of mold growing on it. One of the bedside lampshades looked like it had been through a fight, and this chair also had a pretty obvious stain on it. Breakfast was decent, but I should say that the drops of milk I didn't clean up at the table on the first morning were still there the second morning. Also, for the entirety of our stay, a homeless group of 3 inhabited different parking spots with no obvious interference from the staff or law enforcement. I definitely would not recommend this place to a family with younger children.

United States of AmericaWe were charged $100 for smoking in the room they said. Which we DID NOT. We have stayed here 2 times a year for the last several years and never had an issue. This time we had rooms on both sides of us that the people were smoking in front of the doors. And then we ended up with a charge! They wouldn't even get on the phone with me to talk. If someone would contact me it would be great.

United States of AmericaWe always have a great stay at this hotel, but unfortunately not this time. We arrived at 7 pm and all of the first floor rooms were booked, and those rooms are really nice. We had a second floor outside room and it was really sad. All of the lamp shades were bent, no tissues, no dirty clothes bag, no do not disturb sign for the door and the toilet would hardly flush. By the time we got back from dinner, it was late and we didn’t want to go back to the office for a plunger. The next morning we got a plunger, but it didn’t flush. We turned in the room card and told the front desk we were sorry but the toilet was backed up. This is the very first time we’ve ever had a problem after staying here more than 4 times a year, for many years.
The front desk employee, April is our favorite person. She’s always smiling and makes us feel special. We have stayed here so many times, she knows our name when we check in. I told her she’s the reason we like staying at this hotel.
