I requested a crib well in advance which was not placed when we arrived. When it was placed it was in terrible condition so had to request another one. There seemed to be poor communication between the front desk and the housekeeping teams. The restaurant serves good food but is overpriced.

Nice location, clean facilities and quiet setting

Right next to a busy road, people playing music late into the night etc. more expensive than the nice apartment we'd stayed in the night before while doing the fisherman trail, but slept less. Not really the campsite's fault but they should have stricter policies on people making noise and hosting their own private raves/karaoke nights in a family campsite.

Beautiful eco camp, lovely woody tent, nice restaurant, great showers etc, the capsite itself is great

A bit away from the coast, especially when you hiking and can only reach the camp by the main and busy road. Also a lot of mosquitoes.

Nice shade tipi location, nearby restrooms and helpful equipment.

It's difficult to get in and out of the Eco Camp if you are on foot. No shoulders on the busy road. It was not safe to walk. It was noisy by the bathrooms (where our tent was).

    New adventure.

There is no proper pedestrian way to the camping from the beach, which makes it a bit dangerous for people who go by feet. Staff told us they are arranging the path. hopefully it'll be finished:))

Nice big camping. Great food in the restaurant, we tried only breakfast options, though

It's a lovely, quiet location with lots of trees and scrubs. We were also pleasantly surprised by the nice, hot showers, even though we arrived quite late.

Quality of the toilet facilities around the tented area we stayed in left a lot to be desired!

Lack of composting. The restaurant seemed expensive. Our rating is skewed because we've glamped at another facility.

Eco conscious in many ways. A grocery store is a short drive away. Good hot showers.

I booked a woody tent which had electric lights and a small fridge which would have been lovely. Unfortunately there was a power cut the day I arrived and the power didn't come back on until late in the evening.. I appreciate that was out of staff's control but would have appreciated being told when I checked in instead of finding out later.

Lovely peaceful location. Super cosy bed with good warm bedding. Nice on site café bar which is convenient.

Fair priced, clean, safari tent accommodation.

We stayed here for just one night while hiking in the area. Options for accommodation were limited in Salema, therefore we rented one of the safari tents with double bed in the eco camp. The camp itself is around half a mile walk from Salema town on the coast - we could have taken an Uber, but were happy to walk. The facilities were good with toilets and shower block and cooking areas, washing machines are available for use too. There is also a shop and restaurant / cafe which we thought was reasonably priced.

There was no television in the room for background noise. Also no telephone. I understand that under normal circumstances you would have a cell phone, but in this case I was unable to use my phone. On the day we were leaving it was raining pretty heavily, unfortunately we had no way to contact the office to arrange our bags to be picked up. Our ride could not get to our room due to the security key being on with our room key. We ended up having to hail down somebody in a golf cart for assistance. Also there was no hot water in our room, again no way to let anyone know.

Breakfast was good, room clean & comfortable

I found a bit disappointed the fact that the shower temperature was coldish warm: after 25 min of trekking and having to walk from tent to shower I would expect a hot shower! (saw as good idea to save water a coin allowing 10 min shower a day, but must be hot!)

It has been the first time of me sleeping in a tent: I found it nice and functional, the bed being comfortable and with suitable blankets keeping out the cold. Also the street food "What a Faca street food burger" was a definite plus: should propose them more than once a week. One of the best burgers I tasted (goat cheese, caramelized onions and fig jam)

When walking the fisherman’s trail you have to walk along busy road to access. 1.3 I’m out of Salema

The fireplace was wonderful on a cold evening. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Nice balcony. Restaurant had a lovely reasonably priced selection for breakfast.

I went in the end of February and it was quite chilly outside at night. I was super happy that I had a sleeping bag with me otherwise the night would not have been as cozy. I even had to wear an additional fleece pullover to stay warm but I came prepared and it was great night then.

The site is beautiful! I stayed in a woody tent and it was a wonderful cozy atmosphere!

Restaurant - basic coffee and limited breakfast options for a higher rate than usual in Portugal

Delightful stay between the fisherman’s trail. Peaceful and rural just what we were looking for after a days walking. The man on the security at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind and drove us to our woody tent after dark. The tent and beds were comfortable with good electricity. Communal areas fine, good filter water tap. Restaurant could be improved as limited options and not great coffee/ breakfast for $$. Would stay again!

If you're a walker on the Fisherman's Trail, you have to walk on a winding road where people drive fast. Felt unsave. Also, I think the accommodation is overpriced compared to similar offers in the same area

Good vibes on the grounds, and I like the restaurant and ecoshop.
