If you have luggage, there's no elevator but the staff was very helpful in carrying them.

The staff was extremely helpful. There isn't an elevator, so they helped carry my bags to and from the room. They were also quick to respond to any messages on WhatsApp. The room and bathroom were spacious, everything was clean and comfortable. The location was great for easy access to the metro, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

Porte Je T'aime - Sweet Rooms is well situated for easy access on foot or by train across the Louis 1 Bridge into the historic part of the city. The staff were very helpful in allowing us to store our bags ahead of check in and on the day we checked out.

We loved our room facing the Main Street: lots of light, excellent bed. The shared kitchen is kept really clean by the respectful guest and Dona Zaida. Easy 25 minute walk to the centre or down to the Gaia waterfront. This area is appealing because the residents outnumber the tourists. excellent communication with the manager. Big Pingo Doce grocery store right across the street. no problem arriving late.

Completely exceeded my expectations, the perfect place to stay to explore the amazing city of Porto. Extremly nice and helpful hosts (contactable anytime on Whatsapp), clean rooms and great facilities: including a large shared kitchen. The property is just a 15 minute walk to the popular Dom Luís Bridge and the city centre, or literally a 2-min walk to the nearest Metro station for connection to the city centre and airport. There is no 'reception', the host will meet you there when you arrive, show you around and give you keys so you can come and go as you please. The value for money is great, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Porto Je T'aime to any kind of traveller and I had a fantastic 4-night stay.

Excellent location. GREAT price! They even provide washcloths! I always bring earplugs wherever I go. You might need them if you're a sensitive sleeper as the hotel is on Av da Republica. I'd stay here again.

Room is a little bit small for a double bed. For me it was ok. Was alone and just sleep and take shower.
