Ana and her husband were very kind and friendly. They took care of all our questions and made our holidays very special. The beds are cozy, the breakfast is delicious. The beach is very close and the area very quiet. The garden is also very nice to hang out and the hot shower in the garden gives you a Bali-feeling. The house is decorated with lovely details everywhere. Just the weather wasn‘t perfect during our holidays in Mindelo - but if that would be under Anas control, I‘m sure that would have also eben perfect!

Beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Ana even helped us pack some of the food up for lunch later that day 😄. Great host in a house with lots of character and excellent facilities, highly recommended for a treat on your camino

This guest house was mere minutes off the Camino. Ana, the hostess, is kind and lovely, a fountain of information about Porto and Portugal in general. She greeted me with a smile and a glass of port. The breakfast was delicious and huge. My room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Great stay from fantastic hosts.

Very close to the Camino route. Lovely kind hosts who were very thoughtful about my 60th birthday and gave me the Camino shell with a personal message . I also left a massage ball behind and they sent it on to my home . So kind.

It’s a wonderful place - spacious, bright, comfortable, tastefully restored and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Anna is the loveliest host and we had a fantastic stay with her. Breakfast was the best we’ve had on our travels. If you are in the area, you should absolutely stay in ‘On the way’!

What an amazing and unique place!!So much ambience and creative design , feels like a little art gallery - a real feast for the senses! It's very conveniently located close to the beach and Camino Portugese.Everything is of top quality and beautiful.Ana and her husband are such wonderful people , they do everything to make your experience best ever.It's another level of hospitality.It's a real home away from home.Thank you!!!

An amazing oasis just steps away from the Camino and the ocean. After excellent communication with our hostess, we were greeted with genuine warmth to an amazing retreat which they have remodeled with the utmost care. She even had cold beer available for 1 euro! Small stores are nearby as well as restaurants for the walkers. We bought a bottle of wine and watched the sunset on the beach. The morning breakfast is a full meal of homemade goodies to set you on your way. Don’t miss this outstanding guest home!

Warm welcome from Ana who is a very attentive host. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. The property is close to the beach and restaurants and snack bar. It is a 5 minute walk to the Camino.
