To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

KyrgyzstanIn the booking confirmation they wrote that keys are on site. However they are not. We spend lots of time and strength ( it is very difficult to go with bags through Lisbon, every kilometer is painful) to find them and to have a kyes. Also they gave us keys from front door of the building, which is very difficult to open with a key(took 5 minutes). All people who lives there use code. They told us this code. Reception is very kind and I have no question to them. But someone who organise all this is not good enough for this business. And one more thing, washing machine is out of order. We choose this apartment because we needed washing machine. Actually it is there, but it is not working at all.
Balcony, calm neighborhood, very good (or the best) man from supermarket near the apartment from Nepal. Very kind, prices are ok.

United KingdomWe were locked out on the first evening as we were given the wrong code for the door so spent the first night on the streets. The company is ignoring my messages regarding a refund. The apartment was very poorly stocked (only 2 toilet rolls for example). There was not even soap in the bathroom to wash our hands. The shower was in a fixed position that caused it to spill out of the bath and flood the floor constantly.
The apartment was generally comfortable and well presented.

United KingdomKey to the main entrance building did not work. Several people tried without avail. We were lucky a local resisdent gave us a code. Otherwise no idea how we would have got in. When calling to try and get assistance with getting into building on first attempt I was hung up on.. then messaged and left on read. 1 towel for 3 peoplle No curtains or blinds in second bedroom. Woken up very early by Sun light. Bathroom door broken, got trapped in Not particularly clean, a hygiene sticker for underwear left in the bathroom shelf. Staff quick to get a deposit that they are slow on returning. Not very helpful with directions or useful information on the apartment itself. Dishes were in dishwasher. Had to unload.
It is a big appartment.
