I would give a better rating if they didn't shine the lights directly in my face at night, see the attached photo. the bed is not very comfortable and I found hair from the previous visitor in the bathroom

The apartment was really noisy and you could hear everything via the internal walls so if you like your sleep it might not be the apartment for you. No housekeeping which was unexpected the whole trip we had the same towels and no one came to tidy the room. You could pay additional money to wash your own things but when exploring a major city it wasn’t worth the time to wait inside to wash our own. The bathroom was very tired and with some mould in the shower and did not corresponded to the photographs. Communication with the property wasn’t great, when we had a question we were waiting a long time for a response. There is also no lift which is understandable with it being an old building but beware as the stairs as warped and you need to tread carefully.

The apartment had a good location, with a nice outdoor area and communal space outside with a small plunge pool. The room was clean when we arrived. There was amenities for filling up water and apples.

Living Lisbon was such a cute little place, the room was tiny but had everything we needed plus a balcony. We had cold wine waiting when we arrived, staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was quiet and cozy, unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy it this time. We loved the location, it was not touristic but you could easily walk everywhere (shopping centres, bigger coffee shops etc). I’m sure we will be staying there again!

No elevator (although can understand as it is a lovely old building), the windows are sound proof, but the internal walls aren't and you can hear others moving around and at all hours.

Not clean enough. The sheets had stains, the bathroom and kitchen needed a scrub.There was a rag on the kitchen countertop with a cup ring on it which tells me it was probably there from the previous occupants. Also, the room is extremely small, there’s barely any space between the desk and the bed.

Comfortable and practical room with outdoor area to relax. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft. Nice welcome package. Good location, convenient proximity to the train.

Fantastic apartment - easy to get to from either Alcantara station or the tram. Loads of good restaurants nearby. The apartment was really clean and comfortable; and the courtyard/mini pool area was great to relax in after walking around Lisbon! Coffee and a bottle of wine were provided as well which made the stay extremely welcoming!

Door on bathroom broken, kept falling off, bit scared we were going to get trapped inside! Just needs tightening. Shower is old and let's the bathroom down. Very powerful water pressure and angle of shower head means water blasted out of the door when I turned it on. Door also fell off at one point and me and my partner had to work quickly to try to turn the scalding water off and stop it flooding. Again, thankfully I hadn't stepped in naked to that water, very difficult to find a reasonable pressure and temperature. Otherwise bathroom great. Everything clean, but the smell of perfume/air freshener/maybe some kind of cleaning fluid was so synthetic and overpowering, we had to leave the window and door open all the times we were home and it still didn't shift it. Definitely don't need to spray so much, we can see it's clean, honest! Also bottle opener was old and didn't work, just needs replacing. Pump on pool quite noisy, wasn't a huge issue and we understand it has to function, but if you are a person bothered by noise while outside relaxing it's good to know. Was a bit nerve-wracking after booking because was sent various links to pay for things, and wording made me think it was a scam/asking for full payment outside of Booking, and mentioned a security deposit too?. This turned out thankfully not to be the case, and a very nice woman explained when I called that i just needed to pay the tourist tax of €18, which was fine. The fact there's no entry key is a bit spooky, especially if your phone is unpredictable, or you aren't confident you will have signal/roaming. We had a smart phone each thankfully, so two chances to get it right, but remember to keep your phone charged and try not to arrive/come home really late because not sure how you would get in possibly.

We booked the 'executive one bedroom apartment' which on Booking is called the 'deluxe apartment' (the host's website seems to call it a different thing). It was the perfect size for two adults, we could easily have stayed for a week in that space, especially as there is the communal area inside and outside and the pool area. You would not be on top of eachother the whole time. Plenty of extra bedding and blankets in the cupboard. All the basics in the kitchen that you would need, although me only made breakfast and packed lunches in the end. There's a machine with fresh cold filtered water in the communal kitchen area, we only found it on our last day, but would be a nice place to socialise and have a cup of coffee too. Tap water isn't as nice, so recommend using that to refill bottles. Pool area is very beautiful, water was cold but also it was only 18 degrees weather when we went, still was nice to dip our legs in and would be great in hotter months. Felt safe coming and going, and when we couldn't get into our room one day because the app stopped working, I called and spoke to someone and they said someone was in the building that day and could help us immediately. He also have us another emergency number to call. A Lidl supermarket is 10-15 mins away for shopping, a great little restaurant called Alcantara 50 (massive portions, you have been warned!) and a Dutch bakery with the softest cinnamon buns just up the road.

Marker to identify the entrance wasn't seen as we arrived at night. No staff was seen till the day we checked out. The air-conditioner wasn't set right and was blowing hot air. It wasn't till our last night that it was fixed. The pool is a small pool. The room I stayed in was quite small compared with the picture I saw.

The room was neat and well arranged. It had the needed utensils like plates, cutlery, etc. There was a kitchen and laundry room. The pool area is pretty. Thanks for the wine in the fridge, there was no wine opener though.

However some things to consider: The appartement is in reality quite a bit smaller. If on the road side you can hear the smallest noises. Therefor also the front door, if it closes you really hear it well.

The double bed was positioned with 1 side totally against a wall - difficult for the person sleeping on that side to get off the bed to use bathroom at night, as it was for us. Rest is interrupted/ difficult: the picture depicted in the description was different than our reality. We could clearly hear normal conversation from adjacent room, so not exactly ‘soundproof walls’ as said in description. After around 11 pm, things were quiet.

Clean. Hot water, functional kitchen, good coffee and snacks provided free in a common area on 1st floor. Clear / efficient communication with host.

We felt the room was tired. Shower didn’t drain properly, and sealant very discoloured. The whole room just felt a little grubby and the room was very small.

Good location. Quiet rooms. Nice courtyard. Small plunge pool but outside temp was only 19 degrees so didn’t need to cool off. Short tram ride to city centre, and a lovely hours walk away from Belem along the River Tagus.

Bed was advertised as large but was tiny and difficult to access. Shower tray blocked. Superior studio didn't feel Superior and was small.

Well equipped, generous social areas. Nice touches incorporating the old building with the new renovation. Co-working space useful.

Noisy area below the flight of planes and busy street during the day and evening but quiets down at night. Bar below room was noisy on Saturday night. Challenging stairs to manoever with luggage. Very limited information on room on web site and no feedback from management when contacted prior to trip on suggestions for transportation from airport. Once we figured out the train schedules we were fine.

Self contained small apartment. Easy access to train and bus transportation and grocery store. Nice and clean facility. Building amenities are nice such as common kitchen with filtered water and pool and patio.

The rooms looked better on the picture but there was some charm to the place. A bit noisy if you don't close the windows.

Inner court yard was nice. Kitchen looked amazing. There was so many suprizes nearby, a huge park, viewpoint, great coffee shop and gelato place. Gleba.

We didn't realise the steps would be so steep and I had a bad knee so it was difficult to navigate all the steps. We asked to change to a room on a lower floor and the hosts kindly accommodated this for us so this was very much appreciated - thank you!

The hotel is very well located and there is a bus stop 75 metres from the front door which takes you into the city centre. So convenient and the buses are very frequent. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a good stay. A lovely lounge and outside space to have a glass of wine. We also found a few nice places to eat when we had been out all day and didn't want to travel too far for food in the evening - a great Nepalese restaurant just down the road and a nice little local cafe a few doors up that served good coffee and snacks.

The hotel was in a nice location, it was clean and the rooms were well-equipped. We could leave our stuff when we arrived early although we had trouble getting in because there is no reception and your door code does not work before check-in.

Really nice little hotel. I was staying alone in a single bed room for a work trip and the room was comfortable and great value. The room had a small kitchen so I could make myself some food. The location is very convenient: it's within walking distance of a tram which can take you to the Chiado area and also the Belem area and also right by a train station which you can use to get to the airport. The electronic locks on the building made check-in possible at quite a late arrival time.

Beautifully clean apartment. The pool area was ideal for chilling out in the sun. Good facilities in the apartment and plenty of places nearby for supplies. A short taxi ride took us where we needed to go. Would really recommend.

The video sent for how to check in didn’t correspond to actual use of the app. Check in was confusing. Description on booking.com said “laundry in unit” when in fact it was 2 floors away, and the drain in shower was clogged. Also, did not like perfume from diffuser in room.

I didn’t have the optional paid breakfast but appreciated the well appointed kitchen which was one of the reasons I chose the accommodation. Great neighbourhood. Beautiful building, lovely doors to balcony, great bed, and quiet.
