How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower and toilet were separate and only with sliding doors, making privacy a bit difficult if sharing a room with friends. The hotel is also located a bit outside of the old part of Évora and the walk to the Flix bus is sometimes along non-existant walkways and cobbled paths.
The property was very clean, modern and light. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was abundant with many different options for people with dietary restrictions.

Car parking was a bit sparse
breakfast was great and the breakfast area very nice and relaxed. Hotel location very nice , I particularly enjoyed the view of the Old city from the rooftop pool area.

A short walk from the station and right outside the walls of the old city. This is a new modern comfortable and exceptionally clean hotel. The breakfast was to a great standard and a broad selection of food. It was an excellent base to see Evora and a great stay.

The hotel is a 10 min walk to the old town. The room was very comfortable and bathroom products were of an excellent quality. A. Nespresso coffee machine was a welcome addition. Bed was very comfortable and buffet breakfast had a wide array of choice. What you would expect of a Hilton Hotel.

The hotel is surrounded by busy roads, so noise could be a problem, especially if any window is open.
Very good location as we travelled by bus to/from Evora. Hotel is very new, modern, bright & busy. Our double room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was really excellent; it offered huge variety to suit all tastes, including eggs cooked to your liking as you watched.

They had a couple technology problems, with keys and TV, when we arrived. These were resolved pretty quickly, so no big deal.
Location right outside the town wall. Hotel was clean, modern and rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were patient and friendly.

The design of the toilet/ shower configuration was a bit odd and did not provide the best privacy. No free WiFi if using Booking.
The hotel was very comfortable, with a great breakfast for an extra charge. Hotel was in a good location to tour the city. Lots of staff who were friendly. Parking for the hotel worked well if coming by car.

The breakfast was ample (for 15 euros) but for those who only want coffee and a croissant, there was no option.
The room was very comfortable, traveler-friendly, warm and welcoming. The way it's laid out is perfect: shower separated from toilet, and a spacious area around the sink, outside of both shower and toilet. There was room to put luggage and a couch/sitting area with comfy cushions. Huge TV screen, which we didn't use ... but good for people who might want to. Coffee and tea were offered as amenities in the room, and a little plate of sweets was brought to us in the later afternoon. We got there 2 hours early and were checked in right away, with a warm welcome.

Cost of drinks at the bar.
Beds were very comfortable. The drinks at the bar were a bit expensive, but breakfast was excellent. I was very impressed when they offered us a complimentary breakfast to compensate for the fact that the TV’s weren’t working because of a system failure.

I chose this hotel because of ease of access during a long trip. I did not go out so I do not have opinion of location. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and efficient.
