Lovely old building with the convenience of having a new part attached to it. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and polite. parking was just outside the main entrance. Its in a public underground.

Everyone was wonderful, especially the nice lady at reception. My only grumble was that the bed pillows were too hard for my taste. Excellent choice and one of the highlights of Portugal!

I liked it so much on arrival that I immediately booked a second night (which is what this review covers). The staff are kind, breakfast is good and varied, the rooms and common spaces feel fresh and well looked after. Above all, they treated me as a solo traveller with respect and individual service, which felt welcoming and nice.

Viana do Castelo, I heartily recommend this hotel to everyone, top service, very friendly, super clean, large rooms with balcony, great breakfast included, very central, quiet in the evenings, elevator, public underground car park for 7 eu per day through the hotel pay again at any time

We were greeted by a lovely helpful receptionist. The hotel is in a traditional old house and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful and photo worthy. Our room was comfortable cosy and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and was amazing in a lovely dining area. Location was perfect easily accessible to walk around the town. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was very basic but it was fine for us

The staff were very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and modern and we even got a small balcony where we could hang our clothes to dry.

The breakfast was excellent and the location was unbelievably picturesque, not to mention conveniently close to everything a person visiting could need. I nedded to shelter myself from the rain on my last day in Viana do Castelo and, even though I had checked out, the staff not only let me leave my luggage there in my attempt to walk about the city, but also let me stay a while until the weather got better. The weather didn't improve but I was welcome in the hotel, regardless!

The bathroom is within the room however it is not enclosed therefore there is no privacy from others that you are sharing the room with and if the door to the hotel room is opened anyone in the hallway can look directly into the bathroom viewing the toilet and glass shower.

We loved the historic hotel, the lovely staff and the location. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of breakfast items served in a cozy area.
