Location in the Moorish Quarter was perfect! The apartment was on a quiet street and was very clean and comfortable. We had read reviews saying the noise from the other apartment was terrible but it honestly wasn't that bad at all, just typical apartment living! Andre was very easy to reach and answered all our questions.

We couldn’t figure out whether the overhead shower didn’t work or if we just weren’t figuring it out, but the handheld shower head was perfectly fine anyway so no big deal.

The location is unbeatable for the price, and the apartment is so clean and comfy! The fan was so powerful and really made it great to sleep, with the added bonus of an exceptionally comfy bed. The instructions from the host made the whole process so simple.

-Bathroom was too narrow -But we most disliked the noise. Though the building and location weren't noisy, the room seemed like it had no noise insulation. We could hear the people walking or talking in the upstairs room or out in the hall like they were with us. And the main problem was that the floor was made of wood so it would squeak with everystep. Despite being tired we would wake up daily from the noise.

The worst thing about this property (for us) was the noise from the upstairs neighbor. It seems that there is no soundproofing at all and you can hear every footstep through the ceiling. The apartment could use some minor updates and repairs, but nothing was unusable or uncomfortable.

We absolutely loved the location of this property and the little square that it is situated in. There are tasty restaurants and a fun little art studio nearby. We went everywhere on foot and this property is a great home base for that! The property, while very small, fit our needs for the most part. There is a kitchenette with some utensils and appliances that was helpful to have when we didn't want to eat out.

The upstairs neighbor made our nighttimes miserable. They constantly stomped on the floors making it difficult to sleep. They did this pretty much throughout the night. If it wasn't for them we would rate the accommodations a 10.

Location was great, accessible to all of Lisbon. We walked everywhere and was near a metro to take us to and from the airport. Restaurants were fantastic and right outside our door.

You'll hear sounds from upstairs and in the hallway which can make you feel like others can hear you as well. The AC unit is a standalone unit that helped get the room cool but didn't seem to get it cold enough to it off for a while. There was just enough room for your bags and clothes but you have to be organized as there's little extra space in the studio.

The location was nice and the information given ahead of time to access the building and rooms for the keys was simple enough. The kitchenette had the basics and being able to turn an AC on was nice.

The flat was smaller than we thought, but the worse thing was, that the house is very noisy. The flat is on the ground floor, we could hear every step and movement of the neighbour above. The house doesn't have a sound insulation at all. Also the wooden stairs are going up beside the flat and you can hear every step also during the night.

The appartment is really well located in the city, the centre and also the metro station is close. It's in the Alfama district which makes it even more interesting. The owner was very helpful, the cleaning staff forgot to leave the keys in the locket on the door, we texted the owner and in 20 minutes he was there to provide us the keys. We had coffee capsules with a Nespresso machine in the flat which was really nice. The kitchen is small but well equiped for a few days stay in the city.

NOISE…:( not a real problem for us but could be for light sleeper! the square next to the appartement can get loud on the week-end… the tenant of the appartement above is a very heavy walker and makes a lot of noises even in the middle of the night! SOLUTION=EARPLUGS!

the location of the appartement was perfect to see everything by foot… stairs included!!! the bed was comfy and the appartement decor very corky!!!

The apartment was clean and comfortable with restaurants literally right outside the door. The host Andre was very accommodating and always available. Location is perfect.

NOISE! From the nearby square, but mostly for the adjacent apartments, specially the one above. Regularly woken up during the night, purchased ear plugs, and even so, still quite difficult to sleep/rest due to the noise. Difficult to switch water to the top shower head.

Very comfortable apartment with attention to detail and all necessary amenities for a short stay. Very clean. Good location. Good communication with host.

If there is someone in the room upstairs the noise is unbearable!!! Creaky floorboards, the first night was an awful nights' sleep for both of us (and we were very tired!). The pillows were far too thick, I had to sleep without. You have to leave tax payment in cash in the lockbox.
