Perched on a lovely hilltop with incredible views of Funchal and the North Atlantic Ocean. The villa had everything we needed for a week long stay and Lino was a great host who helped us with everything.

I asked for some needed kitchen items, which were delivered right away. So, there was nothing to dislike.

The host was very welcoming and kind and helpful throughout my stay. Location was very good for me as I did not have a car and there was a very inexpensive and reliable bus service into Funchal center. My TV gave up the ghost after 2 days but was replaced within 24 hours.

The air and apartement was quite wet, but there has been a machine to help with that and I think it`s caused by the humid weather in the January. So nothing else Lino could do with that:)

Lino is a great host. He picked us in the airport and drove us to the accomodation. He was on time everywhere we agreed and gave us some advice what to see in Madeira. Everything was nice and clean and we even got a typical Madeira cake as a welcome gift. Apartment has a great view and is located near Botanic gardens and you can easily take a bus to the city or a cable car to Monte. It`s in the steep hills so for persons with limited mobility it might be a challenge. There is a convenient parking next to the accommodation though and I managed to drive here even though I am not that much experienced driver.

The bed is very small and not to comfortable. The aircondition was dirty so we didn't use it. We cooked more times but the oven didn't work well.

Nice place with amazing view and very friendly owner. The garden is wonderful, we loved this place.

Nothing to highlight.

Everything. Well equipped and comfortable beds both for us and our 6 months old. Everything is just like on the pictures and the view from the apartment is phenomenal. The botanical garden and one of the cable cars is literally in front of the apartment and I highly recommend to anyone who’d prefer to be away of the touristy and crowded, noisy center and be closer to the nature. There’s a mountain pathway nearby and a waterfall:)

Everything was perfect. Lino is a very good person. He was friendly, nice and polite. He organised transport for us from the airport and to the airport. We had everything what we needed. House was tidy, clean. Area was silent. We definitely will back there.

Lino is a great Host. Apartment has great location with cute view. Available to rent a car that is doing well on the hills. Even if it is located in the hills it is no so dramatic as comments says :D apartment is well equipped, a lot of cats around area that I love!

Great host and great views, we even got a little local present by the host. There is a parking space nearby which you can use, but be sure to use the route the bus uses, as the hills can be quite steep to drive on.

The room was clean, comfortable and cool which allowed for a great sleep. The other guests staying in the rooms were lovely. We had a quiet and powerful fan which helped us keep cool in the night, but the room was generally pretty cool already. Lino was nice and picked us up from the airport which allowed for a hassle free journey.

The noise! My gosh, the amount of dogs barking, chickens squawking, and cats fighting was insane and virtually non stop. We had to keep the windows open to keep the apartment cool at night and the noise from the animals in town was very loud at all hours. The location worked well for us because we rented a car, however if you do not rent a car it is not really within walking distance of much.

A beautiful little apartment with excellent views! Our studio was well equipped and clean. The washer was very handy and we loved the private balcony that overlooked Funchal. The location was decent, easy access to the bus stop that comes regularly and free parking for the rental car offered by the property. Lino was very kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.

I recommend! The renter collected and took to the airport as agreed. He also helped with renting a car. The apartment "Dream" met our needs brilliantly. The view of the city was incredible from the balcony.

Well equipped studio in quiet part of town with fabulous views. 30 min walk down into town, or 10 minutes on the bus. Loved it and Funchal and Madeira and will be returning very soon I hope.

The hot water runs only for a few minutes. Needed only for some cold days at the island though.

A nice studio with a beautiful view of the sea. One can also see a very nice sunset from the balcony outside. The studio was very clean and Lino the host is very kind.

Appartment has very good equipped kitchen, bed is very comfortable. Beautiful view especially in the evening...whole Funchal and port. Three is also enaugh place for parking a car. We recommend this place for starting and exploring amazing Madera. Joanna & Christopher

The house has a beautiful view on the ocean and the hills. It is located just near the entrance of the botanical jardin. It is necessary a car to move from there. Lino is super kind and helpful. The house was clean and in the kitchen there was all the necessary to cook. The terrace was so nice! Sometimes there are cats that come to visit :)

My only complaint is the noise (which we were quite surprised by, since we had read so many reviews saying this was a quiet place). There is of course no blame on the owner, as it's out of his control, but there seems to be an issue with dog owners in this neighborhood. A close neighbor leaves their dog outside - and the dog barks ALL NIGHT. - also riling up other neighborhood dogs. We are not sensitive sleepers, but the bass of this bark was too much. After a sleepless night, we turned the fan on in the room, and that did provide enough white noise to drown the bark. Otherwise it's a lovely place, so I hope this can be resolved with the neighbor!

Nice location and view. Lovely garden to hang out in (loved the hammock!).The condo is comfortable and spacious. Easy free parking!

Great choice, definitely recommended! Very spacious and comfortable apartment, with an amazing view from the small terrace/balcony outside the bedroom. Very clean and new facilities. Very conveniently located on top of the hill close to the botanical garden, with easy access to Monte via cable car, a short ride to the centre and easy acces to the main road to get out/in of funchal. Lino is also a great host, profrssional helpful and friendly. Will definitively come back!!

A very nice apartment with all the utilities you need. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffe machine etc. The outside area is perfect to make a charcoal bbq and to relax in the sun while enjoying the stunning view. You can directly rent a car from the very nice host family. If you don't drive, the bus stop is just in front of the house. The grocery- and fruit store and the local bakery are located just around the corner.
