I don't remember how many times I've been coming back to this hotel and other PHC hotels for years. Because of their location, comfy room interior design and well equipped room facilities. Their hotel is like a comfortable home. But this time around, I'm a little disappointed with the housekeeping services. No one has long hair in my family. But every time i came back after they cleaned my room, I realised there was a lot of long hair on the floor around the room. I assumed, they mopped the room without rinsing it well from the previous room. When I stay in a hotel, cleanliness is important. Because the hotel is a place people come and go. To keep it clean every time for the guests, should be a priority. Will I ever come back to Magazine Vista? Definately. I love this place. My family loves it here.

Very clean and modern perfect for a short stay, next to Komtar was a plus easy for us to travel by VIP BUS back to Ipoh.

The hotel was literally diagonally across KOMTAR. Strategic place as many eateries were within walking distance. The entire floor was huge and the necessary amenities were provided including detergent for clothes and dishes. The initial fear was noises from the main street was not as bad as expected. Where I lived is way worse. Everything was clean and the living area is a nice hangout place for the entire family to gather around watching TV while enjoying each others company. The staff who came to clean was polite and courteous. Advice to whatsapp the property ahead of time as the centralised PHC hotel lobby was not opened on the day we arrived. Luckily they were prompt to answer the message and helpful to arrange a staff to guide us to keep the luggage while roam around Georgetown first waiting for check-in. The check-in process was done in the room itself and the staff was a jolly fellow. Everything was brought in his backpack and he brought us around introducing the rooms and the amenities. A nice hotel to go to for those with larger families as the staff did mentioned the room we paid for can house up to 10 people.

IndiaSince the hotel is a shop house, there was no proper pick-up and drop-off point which made it a bit challenging to wave down the e-hailing car sometimes. Not very suitable for senior citizens who have walking disabilities as there is a semi-steep flight of stairs up into the apartment.
Location was close by to quite a few food options. All main tourist attractions were at most a 10-15 minute cab ride away. Rooms were spacious and overall apartment was kept clean.

MalaysiaQuite a wait during check-in and check out time. There was no reception counter at this premise. Hence, we need to actively communicate with the staff using WhatsApp messenger.
Overall staffs were giving their best in term of service. Was given a newly renovated room with after paint smell. Was able to switch to another room the next day. Overall, nice and strategic location. The room is big compared to the other hotel.
