How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location, very close to all the restaurants/bars, but also quiet and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was super helpful - they helped us book a tour to the canyons which was fantastic. We also thoroughly enjoyed the free sauna - we booked an additional massage which made it a very relaxing afternoon. Highly recommend!

I don't think the food is realy good there. I didn't eat there but it didn't smell that good
Staff is amazing. Car park is a few blocks down the road. Location a+. If you get the top floor you get a bit of a view

From the start was met with warm welcome and well taken care of during my stay. Staff very attentive to your needs and felt really safe as a single traveler. Hotel lis just couple blocks away from the restaurants and city center.

We loved the children's playroom, which provided our preschoolers some much needed space to unwind, and we loved the sauna and jacuzzi as well. Staff was super friendly and even before our stay reached out to help us organize tours and transportation. Beds were really comfortable.

It’s the most modern hotel we have stayed at in Mexico. Very comfortable room. Free water bottles every day. Mongrammed pillow cases, great cable tv and best of all a great experience in the relaxing spa and sauna.

Everything, from the location to the comfortable room, to the great staff. I just wished I hada had more time in San Cristobal. I had to leave early in the morning. I would have loved to have breakfast in their garden.

Breakfast not included, but there was an abundance of nice cafes in centre walking distance. No complaints.
Modern and comfortable room. Room cleaning and two bottles of water provided daily. Reception helped with airport taxi. The street felt safe and is a few blocks away from main walking street. No problem walking after dark. Sauna and jacuzzi included for 45 minutes were relaxing and spotless. Pleasant surprise was that our room was ready when we arrived before 10 am.

wifi could drop out but considering it’s in a mountain jungle town this is only a minor inconvenience.
What I liked about the hotel was the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The room was spacious the bed was amazing, wifi could be better but overall a 10/10.

The people in the hotel gave us a feeling of "home". Very friendly, helpful and sincere. The place is modern and extremely clean and well kept. One of the best places I ever stayed in the world !

We normally always have something to complain :-) But this time, we cannot think of anything. Everything was just perfect!
Everything was amazing! We specifically looked for a warm place because it can get cold in Cristobal. Heater in the room, extra blankets, and HOT (not warm!) water in the shower. By far the best shower we had in Mexico! On top of this, we got 45 mins free sauna and whirlpool! Room was really cleanb and modern. Staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We also booked a tour visa the hotel for a good price. We also received a WhatsApp message a couple of days before our arrival with information, which I really appreciated!

We only stayed here for one night but we really enjoyed it. The hotel is located in the center but in a quiet street, close to everything you need. The room was very spacious, huge bed and good shower. It was also really nice that we could use the sauna and jacuzzi for 45 minutes (included in the price). We enjoyed this a lot, it was very relaxing. Staff was kind and helpful, overall we had a great experience.

Amazing place. Beautiful rooms, very modern and clean. Art work on the walls, lots of plants in the common areas. Individual heater in the room if needed! Lovely staff and you can reserve a private 45 minutes in the spa. Good wifi, restaurant on the premises.
