There was one little hickup during our stay (3 nights). At 5 in the morning we heard loud noises coming from upstairs of the villa. We realised that the owner (who lives in the 2nd floor) was throwing a party, as he thought no guests were staying at the hotel as it’s low season. We asked him to lower the music and he did so immediately. Overall, it’s surely a misunderstanding but it is worth to be mentioned. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and it’s why it still deserves a high rate!

This boutique hotel is simply perfect to relax - a little oasis of paradise! The rooms are beautiful and clean and the manager of the place Cristina is very sweet and kind. The hotel is very close to the beach only two blocks (5 min walk). We loved that it was a bit far from the center and the noise. Thank you for everything!

Organizing the transport from Cancun airport was a bit challenging and the driver was speeding a lot.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Los Mangles. Cristina was very friendly and supportive. The location is top, you can arrive at the beach in 2 minutes and City Center in 10 minutes by foot. Overall, we really enjoyed our short vacation in this paradisical island!

We loved it all, if there was a pool it would be 110% but we could easily do without, there is a nice rooftop shower to freshen up.

We stayed in a private suite upstairs and it was perfect, well decorated, with great facilities and kitchenette (microwave, blender, kettle, toaster, fridge, uyensils). It's very private and has a wonderful outdoor space. Lovely lights and many windows. The proximity to the sea. Super friendly host. Sunrise and sunset views. Drinking water in the room was excellent touch.

I liked everything about it.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and in a beautiful setting close to the beach. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but still a walking distance. The front yard is beautiful with trees and hammocks and it’s like a little paradise. The owner and her son were super helpful and friendly.

Wonderful property in a great location. 2 minute walk to the best beaches in Holbox and around 10 to town. It’s also very well equipped, with a kitchenette and unexpected touches like a beach bag and beach towels! The host Cristina goes above and beyond to accommodate for our needs and guide us on where to go. Really laid back place, clean and perfect for a holbox vacation

Just a wonderful stay I’m these peaceful surroundings. Wauw! We loved the whole apartment and the outside surroundings as well. Isla Holbox has such a relaxed vibe and we would have loved to stay longer.

It was on the side of the Island towards Punta Mosquito, away from the noise and 1 block from the prettiest beach. (About a 10 to 15 minute walk to town.) At the bottom of the street you could rent beach loungers for 100 pesos per day. The property had that authentic jungly feel and the staff were terrific. They made us feel like family. Christine and her son Marco were so generous and genuinely nice people. We booked a kayak tour and Marco took care of that and had them pick us up from the property. They also arranged for our taxi back to the ferry. It had a pretty complete kitchen for cooking, although there were a few very inexpensive great and authentic places to eat just up the road, including a fruit and veggie market with great prices. We had no issues with electricity or water. We stayed in the Queen Suite for 7 days and it had the perfect feel and vibe for us!

Absolutely nothing!

The accommodation was great (we were in the terrace room) and it was really peaceful and relaxing. The room was great - with everything we needed and a short walk along the beach to the bars and restaurants. Mark (the manager) was amazing and such a nice guy. We were there during the storm and Mark was so helpful checking in on us and looking after us so well. We really appreciated it and would 100% recommend you booking!

This property is beautiful, great location and has a wonderful property manager. We stayed here for a week and it made our trip what it was in Holbox. This place has a great location, just 10minutes walking from the central town which makes it easily accessible but away from the noise. The mornings here are lovely and so are the evenings as you don’t have to deal with any noise pollution. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and this part of the beach was our favorite in all of Holbox. The room is very clean, well equipped with everything you may need, beds are comfortable and AC works great. The best part of this property is the property manager, Cristina. She was so friendly and inviting, she helped us with everything we needed while we were there and was very quick to respond to anything we asked for. Her energy makes the hotel feel like a home away from home. This part of the island was my favorite, just off the central part to the East and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Holbox.

The place is kind of far from downtown Holbox, and unfortunately, when it rains, it's very hard to get to the hotel because all the streets around get completely flooded.

On booking there is mentioned that you can pay by card, but thats not true. The only options are to pay by cash and paypal. So either you have to carry a big amount of cash to the island or if you choose paypal pay an exfra fee of 5% and another big fee because of a money exchange rate that paypal charges you (in our case that would have been 80 euros more in total). We ended up to pay by cash because there was an atm on the island which gladly had enough money in it (although the exchange rate was not great). At least we got the information of the payment options in advance so we were able to prepare and in general it was the only little problem which occured during our stay, so it was not a big deal, but it should be mentioned on booking that card is not an option.

The most beautiful apartment we stayed at during our trip to mexico. Of course it is not that cheap but its totally worth the money. From the rooftop you have a unique view of the island. You get to see amazing sunsets and sunrises and because of the height there are also less mosquitos and other insects. We also can't complain about a thing referring to the interior of the apartment Super comfortable and well equipped. The host (Christina) was super friendly and helpful: there was a problem with the water in our apartment but as soon as we mentioned that she immediately organized someone to fix it. She also helped us with organizing tours and gave us very good recommendations on which tour we should do. She even gave us super helpful for our further travel plans.

Expect that water and wifi can be patchy, but that’s just Holbox in general. Room is very large so was difficult to cool down with just one small aircon.

Location is perfect - far enough away from the noise of town but everything reachable within a 5 minute walk. Very close to the nicest end of the beach. Cristina is a great host and is extremely attentive via WhatsApp. Kitchen is very well equipped.

That we couldn’t have stayed longer!!

I loved this place!! Perfect location for me and my friend. We were travelling on a budget, so this was a great location for us to walk everywhere. It was easy walking into the town at night and felt completely safe, as long as you have a torch on your phone! Literally a 1 minute walk to the beach. We also rented bikes from the town to cycle to some of the beaches that were further away. Accommodation and grounds were lovely and well kept, really cute spot! The bed was sooo comfy. Cristina the owner was fabulous and helped us with any questions we had, she always answered WhatsApp quickly.

WiFi was not always working well in our room and the toilet was not working properly. Also one of the dogs was aggressive towards us, it walks around the property off leash. We love dogs and have one ourselves but this one made us feel very unsafe. The owner put the dog upstairs after we said something about it. Still the dog growled/barked at us everytime we walked into the property.

Nice room with a big bed, fridge and water. Every room has a terrace and the garden has hammocks to relax. Located 2min walk from the beach. Walk to the city centre is a bit longer but very doable and it's a nice walk along the beach. Owner is friendly.
