Spirit Holbox was a very charming hotel. The staff was great and accommodated us with everything we needed (for example did we get an extra duvee when we asked for that). The breakfast was great and the rooftop is a beautiful place to see the sunset from!

Unfortunately, the area around the hotel is a construction site. It was very noisy since the morning. Relaxing by the pool, terrace or on the beach was therefore quite difficult. And there was no information about this from the hotel.

The food was expensive for its quality and sometimes 20% tips were added on top of the bill which was excessive. However the prices were in line with other beachfront restaurants on a generally expensive island! The lighting in the bedrooms was very dimly lit unfortunately which was a pain for getting ready both morning and night. The inclusive breakfast is disappointing!

Beautiful location right on the beach, with a stunning rooftop pool and restaurant area which was incredible to have breakfast each morning. The staff were incredibly helpful and very accommodating to a large group of friends. This was even throughout a crazy storm during our stay. The sea view suite was stunning. We stayed in room 310 which had 360 views of the sea which were visible in both the shower and toilet. The bed is really large and comfortable too.

The room was very basic and smelt a little damp when we first arrived. It could have been nicer with decor etc but it was fine. It was a bit of a walk to get to the centre - only about 20 minutes and we didn’t mind.

The staff were friendly, the prices of food and drinks were good. It was a nice quiet location and the hotel wasn’t too busy. Breakfast was good - simple but yummy and filling!

We had the room close to the road, and it was sometimes a bit noisy (cars and people). Also the refund policy is too strict, we had some people sick who couldn’t come and nothing was refunded (as told when booking). The rest was perfect.

Lovely beach hotel in the most amazing location on the island. Not too far from the center, but calm enough to relax on the beach without the fuss of the center. Amazing view from the restaurant and the pool.

The room was spacious but very dark - would recommend some lighter paint and better lighting. The breakfast was light and despite paying over $200 per night, you can only have one ingredient with your eggs or you will pay extra. Same with a juice, no included. The staff at the breakfast time was a bit rude and very slow.

The private area on the beach with comfortable sun beds. Nice rooftop with comfortable seats. You can go to the center of the island through the beach and it is just 15 minutes.

Someone stoled my beach bag with my wallet and cell phone on the beach on the property.

Location was ok. Mud puddles every where! Stuck at the hotel because of the puddles. We liked the food on the rooftop.

The room was outdated, on the pictures it seemed more modern. The centre of Holbox was a 20 min walk away.

Delicious breakfast en friendly workers in the restaurant. The room was cleaned every day. The rooftop pool was a good place to chill in the end of the afternoon. The beach was like 15 meters away.

There is no attention to details at all: even if the sheets would have been clean you couldn’t really tell cause everything is stained. We asked to clean the room and they took away the towels without give us new ones. Breakfast was okay: there was a spoon of yogurt and a plate but you can only chose from a special menu. The wifi wasn’t working well all the time.

No AC working, the staff tried to put us in another room downstairs but the room seemed smaller, the ceiling lower, no hammock on the balcony, only the AC working was what we actually expected

Rooftop pool, good breakfast, the beach towel, the swing bed, the sea view with the hammock on the last floor (but you pay for it!)
