The rooms were quite dark and would have preferred one larger double bed, instead of two fairly narrow ones, but this seems to be a common thing in Mexico.

Stayed 3 nights here. Absolute highlight was the truly excellent breakfast, and very friendly and professional staff. Even though the breakfast is not in the hotel itself, but at another beach club, it was not at all a problem as you could then choose to spend the rest of the day there, also transport to the beach club was provided for free (we chose to walk most days however). The rooms themselves were clean and simple but perfectly adequate as you spend most of the time out of doors. Also the toiletries provided were above expectations. Staff were also very helpful in suggesting and planning activities, also giving good suggestions for the remainder of our trip. Hotel itself situated in the middle of the action of town close to all amenities/restaurants etc, but rooms are still quiet.

We stayed there for 2 nights, and regreted not staying longer. The girls were amazing, they helped us with tours and restaurant recommendations, and everything was very well organized. The breakfast at Villas Caracol was amazing as well. For us it's a 10/10.

Where do I start? Maybe with lovely Fernanda at Reception who made us feel so welcome and who pampered us all throughout our stay. Or with the ideal location, close to town and restaurants, but away from the noise The AMAZING breakfasts….I wish I could have stayed two weeks to taste every option. The beach club at Las Hamacas, loved that round trip taxi was included once per day The cleanliness!!! The bathroom and room were immaculate, better than many 5 star hotels Taxi driver Manuel who took us back and forth to Las Hamacas The water pressure and water temperature in the shower The speed with which a minor shower complaint was handled and made right….turns out it was our fault 🤭 Air conditioners that work….and are quiet Purified water in the room and coffee in the lounge Where do I end? With lovely Fernanda waving us goodbye as if we were family! We will be back!!

The hotel was in a central street and every night until 3 or 4 in the morning the music from the bars was loud. The room hasn’t aluminium windows to insulate the noise.

The location is great, you can go walking to all the restaurants and stores while it’s still very quiet. It also offers a shuttle that takes you to the restaurant for breakfast and, from there, you cna walk 5minutes and sunbath and enjoy the beach with no one around Also, thanks to Vicky! She helped us during our stay! 😊

Everything was great, no improvements needed!

Staff was exceptionally friendly, we arrived a bit early and they allowed us to check in early for no extra fee. It is a small hotel so they are able to attend to each guest individually. They arranged for us transportation to the free breakfast at a partner resort each day and it was seamless. Quiet, quaint location but still just a 5 minute walk from the beach - we avoided all the loud blaring music on the waterfront which I would imagine makes it hard to sleep.

To take breakfast it’s a 10 minute taxi (provided by the hotel so you don’t have to pay) to the restaurant.

Great location walking distance to most things in Holbox. Hotel is partnered with a hotel on the beach so you can use the sun loungers at the beach club for free. The restaurant opposite the hotel Maiztro does delicious local food. The receptionists are super helpful.

The small window, the bath wouldn’t fill up, no comfortable seating on the balcony; only a thin bench. Housekeeping was ok but not amazing. The beach club where you go for breakfast was very average, small portions.

The location was great, right in the centre of town, walking distance to loads of great restaurants, bars and beach clubs. The room was gorgeous, super comfortable. Great shower.

The staff were amazing! Very helpful and always kind. The beach club was also really nice providing an excellent breakfast and straight on the beautiful beachfront! Nothing to dislike. It’s more that I wish there was a small fridge to store some bottled waters. And maybe a box of tissues in the room.

It was in a good location close to many things and was quiet at night. Felt safe walking around solo even at night. Property and rooms were simple but very clean with nice comfortable beds. The front desk (Johanna) was very friendly when I arrived and appreciated the cold towel and cold bottle of water when I arrived. The free transportation to breakfast was a 10 minute ride to La Villa Caracol Hotel at their restaurant called Las Hamacas. The food was full breakfast menu and delicious with good service. Was nice to be able to use their sun beds at the property. Although not allowed to use the beds right on the beach (reserved for hotel guests), it was barely a ten second walk to the beach. Hotel even provides a beach bag for your towel. Very much liked my stay here!
