I loved staying at Kin; tent was comfy, everything was super clean, kitchen with your own cupboard & space in the fridge... and the campsite was great to meet people and relax. Karen and everyone working at the hostel were all lovely and welcoming - thank you!

Super friendly and helpful staff, the space is super clean always tidy and staff cleaning up all the time. Nice chill area , easy to meet nice people. Super kitchen fully equipped and functional. The tent was super comfy if you want some space and intimacy for a couple of days while backpacking. Would recommend 100% Plugs and light in the tent

Bed in tent was quite uncomfortable (but i am a bigger/ older woman, it is probably fine for the average traveler) staff was very helpful and moved me to a bunk bed which was very comfortable!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here. The owners were very lovely and made the stay comfortable. We joined in on a BBQ fish lunch which was delicious. The location is good, amenities clean and the tent was in the shade with black out cover to keep the light out. I would stay again. Definitely book here if you want a relaxing time in holbox for a good price.

It is a beautiful little hostel with very thoughtful decorations and vibe. I loved having my own little tent with a fan and light. I felt very private, cosy and safe.

Great hostel. Friendly, helpful staff. It was great to have free bottled water available, as well as designated fridge safe and a lockable cupboard for valuables. Each bunk had a curtain to give a good amount of privacy.

Really nice hostel located in a little oasis of palm trees. We had a great welcome from one of the hostel volunteers (Chico argentino who has a passion for rugby like my partner) who offered us a glass of cold water on arrival which was much needed! The tent we stayed in was great with a fan, light and charging points. Showers were excellent and good cooking facilities. The owner Damian cooked us some fresh fish he had caught on our first night there. Perfect hostel for backpackers looking to explore the island. Very clean.

I had a lovely welcome, the owner is really caring about his guests & made everyone feel very comfortable On saturdays he even makes barbecue for everyone who wants (I didn’t try as I’m vegan, but the others were enjoying it!) The hostel is always really clean, there is a lot of space for cooking, chilling etc & all of the volunteers are super nice people as well I would always come back! Gracias por todo 🙏🏽

Tent was surprisigly comfortable - the fan set up works well Locker was secure and a good size Showers and toilets were clean and I saw staff cleaning regularly Easy to walk to other bits of the island, but not right I the middle of the restaurants bars and hotels so it felt quiet and peaceful I felt safe as a solo female traveller

Kin Hostal is a very nice place to stay in Holbox. The volunteers are super nice and the hostel is very clean. The best part about it is the super clean and well-equipped kitchen including a big fridge with enough space for everyone. It was the first time it was actually fun to cook in a hostel kitchen. There is free water and free coffee in the morning. I really enjoyed my stay there!

The mosquitoes were horrible. Had to be covered in bug spray or eaten alive.
