Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesMost of the TV channels are in Spanish so if you do not speak Espanol, it’s not a good choice to stay in. Even though the shower and Jacuzzi tub was very romantic there was no hot water to enjoy it.
This was one of the most prettiest properties I have ever stayed in. The villa was exquisite. The food is delicious a very good choice for all inclusive.

United StatesLack of outlets. Water in shower was barely warm one of the nights. Heat did not work, room was cold. Excessive use of plastic water bottles - it would be great to see more of an effort in reducing waste by providing water stations and reusable cups instead. Check in was very slow and no one offered us any water while we waited almost a half hr to complete the process.
Clean and comfortable Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and quick service.

United StatesThey have several restaurants even thought we made reservations in advance, we waited it a long time to be served & the food were not great , one incident at one of the restaurants we were rushed because they were getting ready to close. They watered-down the drinks.
It was a very nice place , we enjoyed the activities. The staff was very helpful to decorate the room for my niece sweet sixteenth birthday, she had a blast The food was fine ,room well kept & clean. I would stay there again & recommend my friends.

I loved the layout and the ambience. We saw whales swimming all the time and that was really cool.

United StatesMost of the restaurants on site included long wait times which caused the food to be cold when we eventually did receive it. The restaurants serve small plates which often times had great presentation, but a lack luster taste. The online platform that you can use to find out daily activities happening at the resort was difficult to access, but has the potential to be used to its full potential. The Starbucks workers, along with every body else were very friendly and hard working, but they let their espresso shots sit out for to long so they became very bitter. I watched them do this for just about all the drinks they made in a 30 minute time period.
The beachfront was nice which is hard to find in Cabo due to the terrain. The All inclusive included drinks which were made with quality alcohol, and were made well & strong. Everyone was VERY friendly. The room service was quite phenomenal, and was very convenient. The Resort itself was not over populated by any means. Housekeeping was on top of their game always making sure the room was clean, and that we had enough towels to go around. They definitely keep that place running. The Mini fridge in the room was stocked, and complimentary if you do the all inclusive. The Starbucks was convenient to have. Coffee shop snacks were nice little extras and seemed to put a smile on everyone’s face that came in.

United StatesVery dated and needs to be maintained better. There was a ton of rain during our stay and unfortunately the drainage system could not keep up. We had flooding in our room twice. The pools were filled with dirt and debris from rain.
The location on the beach. The steakhouse was excellent good.

United StatesMy room wasn't great, first day they didn't even finished cleaning it, it was missing pillows and the mini bar was empty, it was also on an odd location and there was noise from a construction. The lobby bathroom could use some update, the hotel activities are limited vs other all inclusive I visited, the spa was under construction the room they have out put together for massages is okay, but not the best. Also, they are doing some construction across from the gym, so when running, I would be seeing a white construction paper. The AC in the room was kind of unreliable and wouldn't go cold enough, and the WIFI reception was overall bad. Keep in mind there's also not really a beach at the hotel, just an ocean front. I think it is an okay hotel, but not up to the standard of the expectations, I think there's probably better options around Cabo. I booked this hotel because some of the group are members of the hotel, and have a villa there, but if I was traveling without them, I would have picked something else. I booked a king ocean front suite, the price wasn't too bad, but still high for Mexico and the hotel amenities.
Good location, nice pools, and food at the restaurant was good. All inclusive, so lots of alcohol. Have a good time with the fam and friends. Show at the night club were also good. Spa massage was good.

United StatesAugust might not be the best time to visit unless you like it hot, hot, hot!!
The breakfast buffer had plenty of tions and the service was excellent. Numerous restaurant options, the Sushi and Italian restaurants were two of my favorites for dinner. During the day the poolside restaurant was a great option and very convenient. We stayed in the family suite and there wa splenty of room for the 5 of us as it has two separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Also, unlike many other hotels there was a section of beach where you could get into the water. Kids got a chance to snorkel right at the hotel.

United StatesThe check in and check out process was extremely difficult. They pressure to participate in the time share presentation was excessive. Upon checking out, the hotel overcharged my credit card $1500 for incidentals that we should not have had since we had paid for the all inclusive package.
The hotel and pools were amazing. Loved the variety of restaurants to choose from. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

United StatesThe guest rooms, while very comfortable, needed some attention to detail. Simple little repairs, like paint and grout repair, were not cleaned up properly. Paint drops were just left as is. The mirrors need to be replaced as well.
The food at this resort was divine! The only place we didn't get to eat at was Rosato's; no reservations were available! The sushi at Sky was amazing. The red snapper at El Mexicano was delicious! And the breakfast and lunch at the Peninsula were fabulous! Also, definitely try the ceviche and the shrimp and/or beef tacos at BLU! Actually, try anything at BLU! The lobby bar, the cart drivers, and all of the housekeeping staff were exceptional! The hotel personnel were simply fantastic! And the best news ever, they did not make us sit through any type of presentation!

CanadaThe restaurants get crowded and it feels they are beyond capacity at times. The wifi is horrible. The Starbucks and the store and an absolute rip off. No, they aren't expensive. I would understand if things were double the price, but the Starbucks is about 3x the price and the store (god forbid you need sunscreen) is about 5x the price so you feel jibbed
The pool staff and most restaurant staff. The quality of the drinks is great. Most food was very good too

United StatesUnnecessary overuse of plastic water bottles. The resort could offer the guests reusable water bottles with their advertising on it, or encourage them to bring their own. And just set up fresh filtered water stations in the different areas of the resort.
