The mix up with my rooms, the lack of honesty/integrity from the staff because I left my swim costume in the room I even have a picture but no one reported it. They seem to lie on basic matters. We called ahead of time about their policy because our Airline uses them as our base but they lie on the spot. It was really disheartening to see how they don’t respect guests to be honest. The food was not so great but I love the friendly chef at the pool bar.

The location, all inclusive, the Italian restaurant and bath tub. The staff was friendly but not so helpful.

No AC in the rooms. While the nights did get cool, the day was sweltering in the room. The property needed more shady options inside it's property line. There were many beach umbrellas poolside, but they didn't adjust for the movement of the sun. And along the sand in the property line, there were only a few available. The Jacuzzi tub in the room needed to be treated. We dropped 2 soap bars in the water and left the jets running and when we came back, the gunk and buildup that came out was probably the biggest turn-off of our stay. Being in Mexico, there wasn't enough Mexican food offered. There were a few things at breakfast like chilaquiles, but otherwise dinner had 1 Mexican restaurant by reservation, which isn't open nightly. Otherwise it's Asian or Italian buffet.

Plenty of pool options. Restaurants and buffets offered some basic options for most diets. Reservation restaurants were very good. The staff were quite attentive. Plenty of beverages. Great value for the offerings. They offered entertainment on-site. Several stages are available for shows throughout the week. Poolside activities such as pool volleyball, bingo, and water aerobics occur daily.. Las Jicamas and Gondola were very good restaurants. 1 bar stays open past midnight. They offer an activities desk for things to do, like dolphin excursions and clear bottom boats. Great location down the coast from San Lucas, quiet and more relaxed in San Jose. Beachfront where you can listen to the waves crash at night

1. Broken toilet seat in room 3501 that moved from side to side. 2. Suggest Spanish classes EVERY DAY at noon (or afternoon), not just Tues & Thurs.

1. Jared and Julio, who taught aqua fitness and poolside Spanish classes. 2. Delicious food at buffets and specialty restaurants. 3. Cuban night and 8:30 pm shows. 4. Maid Justina, who helped me learn Spanish, and kept our room emaculate. 5. Adults Only beach-side pool.

Not everyone at the front desk were as proficient in English which caused some difficulties. It took 3 tries before we got a key to work in our second room (we had 2 rooms). The cabs in Cabo were very expensive. Try to Huber. The hotel is approximately 28 miles from Cabo St. Lucas so travel to there was costly.

The food was great and readily available. There were activities by/in the pool for those who wished to participate. The staff was super friendly and accomodating.

The check in process. We booked and paid ahead with Booking.com, but we were told when we arrived there was an additional "local" tax which was ,after a heated discussion, forgotten. There is also a 'sanitation fee' per night which we checked on the govt. website and found to be legitimate and we paid that. They told us that we could not check in until 3 p.m. and could not get our "bracelets" until 1 p.m. After we had arrived back in Canada after our stay they sent a message via Booking.com that we could receive our bracelets at noon. Just a wee bit late for us.

Breakfast was always good, with a wide selection of food and attentive staff. Lunch was o.k. ,good fresh salads and a choice of entrées. Deserts were excellent. Dinner was at a different buffet and the food was not always cooked as it should be, I like 'al dente' vegetables but the potatoes were sometimes downright hard.

More fresh fish and seafood at the buffets. Hard to make reservations for dinner on the App - we went to the VIP room to get them to assist - and we are tech savvy people. Bad app.

VIP deck area and bar, could join the music below or move away from it to read, relax etc. Pool was great - volleyball courts being used was great to see.

The property is dated and showing wear. The quality of food is poor. The a la carte restaurants food wasn’t very good. I would certainly NOT rate it a 5 star property.

Great location, but the sea view room isn't what you think. It's a glimpse on the back of the building . I'd get a pool view next time. Staff were nice. Found it a little disgusting that people would stand in the pool eating drinking and one guy sneaking cigarettes and not getting out for over 5 hours, so you know they are peeing in there. The facility was clean and nicely decorated. Gardens pretty. Fun staff for activities, good service staff, rooms clean.Food as OK .... AC didn't really work. We had a nice time. Woukd go back but maybe ifvwe booked farther ahead we woukd get a better price for room. Paid $472 US a night..yikes, were canadian so seemed kinda steep.

There were no fresh towels in our room when we arrived. We requested one large bed which was recorded on our booking-but were told they weren’t available. Late afternoon food (as we arrived late) looked quite tired-not refreshed regularly) and not all restaurants were open. Limited restaurant choice in the evening and also in the morning for breakfast.

Beach is not swimmable, food is average in quality. Hotel staff are not interested in helping resolve problems. Lukewarm water at best in the shower.

Beautiful beach, nice pools, safe resort, hardworking bartenders and friendly staff. Lots of variety at the buffet dining option, always food available if you were hungry.

The bathtub only had cold water, but the shower had hot water. No boiler in the room (and very difficult to get hot water for the baby bottles). The food was not great.

Amazing swimming pools, warm and with a splendid view on the beach and sea. Nice vintage decoration in the room.

Waiters in the breakfast/lunch buffett were sometimes not very attentive, which was surprising as we always tip, unlike many others, it seems.

Before when we had stayed, it seemed all the rooms were ocean/pool view, but we did not get that this time. But the location was fine in relation to getting around the resort.

The food was average, the meats were always over cooked and dry, we did not have access to all the restaurants like I would have expected for an all inclusive. We had access to the nightly buffet and then could only choose to go 1 night to one of the other restaurants and had to sign up for it at a specific time, which meant we had to be at a specific place in the morning to pick which one we wanted to try. How many restaurants you were able to go to is based on how many nights you are staying. Very weird. If you wanted to try other restaurants you have to pay extra. And we had a surprise eco fee at arrival.

Staff was friendly, helpful and always willing to assist with whatever you needed. The grounds were always clean and well cared for, The location was good for the activities we had planned. They stocked water, beer and snacks in your room.

Check in time was too late, and even if you pay for the “early access”, they dont allow you to check into your room early. Many facilities were not available depending on your “room class” that they give you at the front to identify. Quite discriminatory. Overall, it was quite expensive for what you get.

The major pool was a bit chilly as was the hot tub. Some of the music around the pool was good but a lot was the heavy base techno and was too loud

Lovely big room well appointed with great view. Lots of pools for swimming. The two reservation only restaurants were both very good. The wine and cocktails were also good. The staff was friendly and very service oriented. The breakfast and lunch buffet was served in a beautiful open air restaurant right on the beach.
