The staff was friendly and responsive. Some communication issues with waiting for ice simply because they did not tell us their was ice machine available.

Bathrooms were small. Paid for a garden room, but we weren’t given an upgrade even though it showed many rooms available.Are room looked at construction next door. I felt we were a burden to the staff. Pool was supposed to have service, but waiter never asked us in three days if we needed anything.

The restaurant had great food,with a great view. It was nice having a smaller scale resort. Had the pool to ourselves. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Very close to town. 15.00 dollars to San Jose Del Cabo.

The only small downside is that the hotel is a little remote with not many businesses and other restaurants nearby (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). You just have to a rental car to drive to other destinations because while the restaurant is great you will want to eat at other places.

The Cabo Surf Hotel was a great surf destination. It had everything you need for surfing. I could see the surf break from my room and also had a nice little porch area with seating to just sit and enjoy the waves. The pool overlooking the beach was awesome and the restaurant was great too. The board rentals were a fair price and they had a wide selection of both hard and soft tops.

You will need a car or use taxi/Uber to explore other locations. Most stores/bars outside property are 1 mile away which can be a bit toasty when its 90+ outside and you are walking next to the roadway to get to your destination. About :20 to old town, 1-1/2 hours to Todos Santos. For the price, we were surprised the A/C in the room is marginal at best (struggles to keep room at 76 degrees, one wall (outlets, coffee maker, etc.) did not have power. Ceiling fans and open windows made for comfortable sleeping, but we were there in early June and it was not too hot (about 92F/72F).

Location is excellent especially if you surf. The facilities are nice but pricey. The pool is excellent for hanging out but do not expect to swim laps in it - but then you have the ocean 150 ft away. Spa is higher priced then other facilities, but the staff is excellent. Doyle surf school/facility was perfect with local advise and rentals. There is also a small football field set up for the kids (grass, nets, ball.)

The only complaint was the drinks weren't the best.

Everything about this hotel was great! The room was beautiful with a gorgeous deck overlooking the garden/ pool area and with a view of the ocean/ beach. The staff was incredible and the food was delicious! I got a great massage from Minerva at their spa that was well priced and you receive a discount if you are staying there.

Cabo surf hotel was spectacular. As I drove in the ocean sparkled and the entire property is immaculate. We had a Deluxe, Double Queen ocean front room. The view is beyond what you could imagine. Fell asleep the waves, and woke up to watch the sunrise. Ate at the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was exceptional from the front desk, to the restaurant and housekeeping. Only thing I will mention, if you plan to jump in the ocean, bring water shoes to protect your feet. I will be back 100%

Facilities are a bit dated but overall kept in really good shape. The WiFi is could be better so improving this service will help the overall experience as well. The view and the beach overcome any flaw on connectivity :)

Very nice location with beach access right from the pool area and close to San Juan de los Cabos. Excellent view from the common areas. The beach is more suitable for surfers than swimmers but great overall. Beautiful sunrises as well. Hotel is a bit dated but very well kept. The cleaning services does a terrific job every day leaving your room cleaner than ever before :) The staff is super nice and the service all around the hotel is great. Parking space is also a nice addition.

Yoga

Everything was excellent however we came right after a hurricane so they were working on electricity (air conditioning and internet.) They upgraded our room so we were happy! We suggested they add yoga classes for those of us that don't surf.

The construction noise from next door was awful. The construction view took away all of our privacy and piece to hangout in the room patio. The shower water was really hard to make it hot, sometimes we had to take cold showers.

Staff were not attentive. For all my room service meals, nobody came to remove my finished plate/s. I had to physically take them back to the kitchen myself. All my sit down meals at the restaurant I had to stand up to call a waiter to bring me the bill. The staff seem to only respond when you reach out to them and are not proactive. I also had a foul smell emanating from my room which permeated my bags and clothes. I was working at the time and that disrupted my day for a few hours until I was moved to a new room. The staff that assisted me move were great and their help was much appreciated. Checking out was also poor. Nobody offered to assist me with my bags and I had to juggle everything and drag all out the door and to the awaiting taxi. For the type of property and the rates they charge, I would suggest looking elsewhere for better service.
