Small inconveniences: the dim and indirect lighting in the bathroom; no full-length mirror, and nowhere for a suitcase holder, if there was one.

This was a comfortable and convenient place to stay in one of the busy parts of Florence. The room was at the rear of the building, on the top floor, accessible via a lift. It was very quiet at night, and sunny during the day. The bed and pillows offered excellent comfort for a good sleep, and the shower was hot and strong. The reception staff I encountered were always friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the fellow who checked me in - he was efficient and informative and extremely polite. Its great location meant it was only a short, flat walk to the airport tram - at €1.70 that was the cheapest, easiest trip I've ever had to an airport, anywhere.

No facilities at all. Very dimly lit rooms. Single small slow lift. We were 3 families travelling together but despot request were given rooms on different floors. No kettle even provided in room.

The room was huge but poorly lit. The only reading night lights at head of the beds didnt help for proper visualisation after the sundown. French window next to the bed that admit lights during day time. It is impossible to sleep in during the day, esp after night travel. Some ongoing reno works. Single warm light in toilet. Impossible to see anything in the shower cubicle. Beds were without duvets and warmers were not working. It didnt state that there are rooms in mezzanine floors which need you to carry your luggages up and down the staircases from the nearest lift landing floor. The first hotel I came across that didnt provide duvets and we had to wear our thermal and jackets to beds!

Excellent location, a few minutes' walk from Santa Lucia Novella train station and tourist buses although the cobblestone pavements are not wheelchair friendly. You will need sturdy luggages with big wheels. Best for bagpackers. No electric kettle in the room. Staff has kindly borrowed one upon request. No water bottles were provided. Could have done with a bit of tlc but wouldn't stop us returning, we had a room overlooking the square which was nice but noisy which may be an issue for some!

Friendly helpful staff, allowed to check in early, easy to find, 5 mins from train station. Location right on the square, good WiFi. Great price for the location. Easy access to all the main tourist areas, shops & restaurants.

You are really paying for the location. The hotel is very mediocre for the cost.

The location of this hotel is amazing!! It’s a five minute walk from the train station. Right in front of the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Tons of food options within the area and it’s another five minute walk from the cathedral. The staff are also very kind and helpful. The hotel is also very clean.
