How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room was on top floor and was quiet from all the street noise of Napoli. Also in a great location for the subway, trains and walking. Host is very nice and gives you a run down of places to go and gives recommendations.

This place is an ideal place for a solo traveler ! Very close to the train station and transportation! Carmine is very friendly and very helpful person! The place is very very clean and I never expected to find a bathroom so spacious! Hope to come back soon!

Nothing I didn't like.
Excellent location right next to Napoli Central Train Station with airport buses outside station. Dorm was spotlessly clean with modern bathroom and walk-in shower.

It's on the main street and a little noisy, but we slept through the night :-)
It's right next to Napoli Centrale train station. The manager was very nice, explained everything about the sightseeing in the area and kept our luggage while we explored the area.

When booking the room we were under the impression that it is on the top floor of the building with a roof terrace, but the room turned out to be on the second floor towards the square which is quite noisy and busy. However, the location was great for late arrival so this wasn't a problem for us, but could be advertised more clearly. We did not get a receipt for the tourist tax paid in cash.
The property owner is great - very friendly and responsive, and helped us recover a book which we forgot in the room, and explained the main to-dos in Naples. Great value for money. The property is literally a minute walk away from the train station and therefore ideal for later arrivals / early departures. The bed was comfy and the room great for one or two nights.

It sidewalk where the building located looks a little intimidating.
Carmine was so helpful and nice. The room was located across from the train station so it's an industrial area. The room was spacious and clean.

Not the property’s fault but the area around Central Station is very sketchy (local government issue), my advice is know exactly what door the property is located and have passcodes to hand and you have zero issues.
Great location for easy assess to Central Station/Airport Bus (area itself is very rough with homeless immigrants) but the property was very quiet and the host was fantastic.

Towels could be better though. They were clean but looks worn out/old.
What I love the most was the customer service. Carmine was really nice! He was very welcoming. And the restaurants he recommended were all GREAT! We came to Napoli to try their famous dishes and Carmine knew exactly where to send us! 2nd thing I like was how close it was to the train station. Train station was just across the street The room offers the basic necessities that we need and the air conditioner was cool enough to give comfort after walking all day under the heat of the sun .

The location is superb especially that I was always taking the metro and train to visit other places near Naples. The place is very comfortable and the owner is very accommodating.

The location may not look the best but it work perfectly for me since everyday I took the train to go to Sorrento and positano. Very safe overall I got back every night at around 11 pm or even midnight no one never bother me. The instalaciones were clean and the host very helpful

I was satisfied with the accomodation. The room was always clean, there was a nice view of the city and you can also easily reach the centre. The owner was always really helpful.
