How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is a bit far from the city centre, and the public transport is not the best so you do need to take taxis to get around if you don't have a hire car.
I stayed at this hotel and booked an extra night here as Alessandra was the most welcoming, attentive and kind staff member I've ever met. She made me feel at home, supported and cared for. This was the best service and generosity I have received from any establishment in all of my travels in Europe. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I highly recommend booking if you're in Rome.

The breakfast area was small. Therefore, we had to time arriving when it wouldn't be busy and tables available. The bed was hard. This is nothing to do with the hotel, but as a warning when visiting Rome, make sure you keep your wallets, purses, and any valuables safe. On the first day we caught the bus from near the hotel to the city centre. There was only standing room, when the bus went around a corner someone bumped into my husband, they got off next stop and then my husband realised hus wallet was missing. It had been in a zipped up pocket. While in Rome we saw many people checking their pockets and bags to find they'd lost valuables.
Room was classed as a standard double, with a king-size bed, a small table with two chairs, a kitchenette containing sink, fridge, and microwave. Large bathroom with walk-in shower. Efficient air conditioning. We took the breakfast option. The food was the usual mix of continental and cooked selections. Being situated outside the city centre it was quiet at night. Plenty of supermarkets nearby. Convenient for buses and metro line.

I'm not sure how the kitchen was supposed to be used - most of the equipment was missing, no plates, no cooking ingredients... The cleaning process was happening at random times, the coffee capsules were not refilled, and the used cups were just moved to the sink.
The staff was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts are decent. Location is 10 minutes from nearest metro which is fine. Little walking is always a good idea. The area is calm and safe, as it's not a crowded tourist place (which is good).

The hotel is very clean and modern, located away from the crowds, but easily reachable by public transportation. Even going by foot to the centre was pleasant since the Baths of Caracalla are nearby and you can enjoy the views in quiet green streets of Rome. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us a lot of information and recommendations for restaurants.

We enjoyed everything, celebrated our first wedding anniversary and my birthday as well. Alessandra was exceptional with us, she helped us with everything, the breakfast was excellent, the location is close to the main bus lines, which is very convenient since the city doesn't have much subway.
