One one best hotel experience! Comfortable hotel in the ancient castle with it's own tower and dear running around! Rooms are not very big, but it would be too much to ask for that - they are nicely decorated (or preserved). Just wow!

Cleaning ladies should have closed the window before leaving. We came into a cold room. The castle is only a few years in hotel business so there is some work to be done.

The castle is on the highest mountain in area and has spectacular views. The host of a castle told us very interesting history and showed us around. The price is very good for the stay.

There is nothing not to like in this beautiful castle…

It was an honor and privilege to be able to spend some time in this amazing piece of Italian history… the castle has been restored to perfection, maintaining the characteristics that remind you of how much history Italy has to offer… yet the rooms are super comfortable and beautifully arranged. Who would have thought you could have Wi-Fi in a 1000 year old castle! I loved every minute of my stay, from discovering the beautiful sights to the kind hospitality of Marco and Gianmarco. I’m so lucky to be living in Italy!!

It is absolutely perfect. The staff are adorable. I loved it so much. It was a treat for my 55th birthday and I am so glad I stayed.

I felt like I was in Fellini’s film of Romeo and Juliet. This place is adorable. Everything was outstanding. Do yourself a favour and stay here - and definitely have the dinner and breakfast. Superb! I stayed in room 5 in October 2023 and was able to sit in bed and watch the sunset. I will treasure my memories of staying here forever.

Nothing the whole place is magical

Oh my days what an amazing place to stay!! Huge castle with lovely rooms still kept to the original castle style. Huge grounds with lots of facilities, amazing views from the castle grounds and the main tower which you can go all the way to the top. Host was extremely helpful with our late checking in/self check in via whats app they made the whole process foolproof and very welcoming. Would recommend a stay here just for the experience and the views alone!! We stayed here on our way to san marino and found it a pleasant drive to and fro. The castle too.

This location was great. The staff, most notably Marco, was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were great. We were 45 minutes from so many places. Would recommend highly!

What an Experience! We couldn’t fault anything with the Castle, from check in to checkout. The apartment was spacious, clean and everything we needed ( watching the sunset from our balcony was pretty special) The Grounds were spectacular. The dinner in the Castle was one of the best meals we have had, breakfast was a great selection of pastries, savoury and sweet selections. We were able to walk up to the tower at any time which was a great surprise in itself and beautiful views. Marco was an amazing host. It was a pleasure to meet him.

Our apartment was very nice and in a quiet & relaxed location with a great pool. We enjoyed both breakfast and the dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Hot water for the shower would have been great. But maybe this was just temporary.

Great breakfast, wonderful dinner. Marci was a fantastic host. Ability to have us tour the castle and go up the tower was a bonus! Grounds and views are something so special.

We stayed only for one night but everything was great. The staff were great. Marco made sure that my husband and I were well looked after. The room was clean, some of the furnitures were almost falling apart but it kind of add to the medieval feel. Having known that Italians have their breakfast with sweet breads and pastries, I’m so happy that their breakfast buffet include savoury options as well which I prefer. We also got to go up to one of the towers and enjoyed the view.

Our room didn’t have A/C so it was a bit warm at night, but not unbearable (even in August). Rooms are a bit small, but that’s to be expected in an older property.

Sanitaire is kind of medieval style as well and needs refurbishment. Rooms on first en second floor can get warm because of no airco.

Take a seat at one of the castle's terraces or climb on top of the caste tower. Take a glass of wine or a belgian beer and enjoy the amazing view from the castle. You may also catch a light breeze of wind during hot days from there. The dining room of the castle breathes the medieval style. Strategic position to places like Assisi. The castle itself is quite isolated but a car brings you everywere. Dont mind the bumpy road through the woods to get to the castle.

It was a bit hit when we arrived, so air con would have been nice. But then again that would spoil the charm of the castle
