The headboard and curtains were a bit dusty. There was no tea and coffee available in either the room or during the day in the dining area.

The room was spacious with a lovely lounge area. Shower was excellent as was the location

The room was clean and tidy but the communal carpets and the fabric walls all needed a hoover, you could see the dust. This set off my allergies and I had to take antihistamines during the stay. Also our air con was broken and the room was very warm, we couldn't open the windows as then we got mosquitoes in the room.

Great location, near a lovely little square with cafes. Nice to have breakfast included.

Dirty room. Hair everywhere: body hair in the bathroom (on the floor) and a long head hair in the bed, on the sheet. A really small television. Poor breakfast: no hot breakfast, no vegetables, only jam, butter, croissant, one type of ham, one type of cheese, yoghurt, muesli.

In a nice quiet area, "cheap" hotel (considering other places where a double room costs much more). 5 minutes walk from Rialto, 10 minutes from San Marco. A Coop supermarket is in the corner where they sell everything on the normal Italian supermarket prices.

A lovely find down a quiet street in central Venice. Beautifully furnished with a good ensuite shower room and very comfy beds. Very welcome staff. An easy walk from the Rialto bridge. We'll stay again

The WiFi is not very good, even for email. Staff are good, but not always around when you needed them. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes for someone to come by for check-in. On the first night the room was very hot, but once we found the thermostat and adjusted in the morning it was much better. Some lights outside the window we couldn't turn off.

Beautiful rooms, very lush and authentic. Good beds. Great location. Room a good size, even for 4 people. Canal balconies a big plus. Nice breakfast. Plenty of storage space.

I had never used the key card to turn on the lights. There were no instructions. There was no staff person at the location. Did not have cell service or wifi. So had to use the desk phone to call someone to help. It would have been helpful to have instructions for turning on the lights for dumb Americans like me. And instructions in the hallways since it was pitch black in the room.

Great customer service. Great breakfast. Wonderful canal view.

Breakfast could be better. Very few options.

Good location in quiet and beautiful area with nice restaurants around. Got our gondola right in front of the hotel, and our room had a nice view from the other houses and canal. Just a few minutes walk from San Marco square. Super friendly staff! Had good restaurant recommendations and the communication was clear at all times. We left our luggage there for a few hours, they didn't charge as most of other places. Room and bed sheets were clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. It's not a fancy or special hotel, but it's organized, clean and comfortable. We had a great stay! Specially considering the accommodation prices in Venice, this was a good choice.

The bathroom was small and the shower stall was very small. It had a shower curtain which had seen better days but that was replaced during our visit with folding glass doors and they made a huge difference both to the appearance and space inside the shower.

The breakfast was simple with not a lot of variety but perfectly adequate. The location was a bit tricky to find but once we figured it out, it was a short walk (10 min) to the nearest vaporetto stop which was Ca D'Oro. It was very quiet and we weren't aware of any outside noise at night. There was no one on duty in the evenings but we had a code to enter the building and had no problems with that system. We were able to leave our luggage after we checked out which was a huge bonus as our flight wasn't until the evening. The room was small but beautifully decorated. Donatella who served breakfast was very friendly and helpful.

Two flights of stairs after reception, thank goodness staff was happy to carry our luggage.

Great alternative to tourist residences and a mere 6 min walk from a water bus stop from the airport. Although the room is a bit snug, the staff made our two-night stay very welcoming. Breakfast was included, how convenient.

Know what to expect in the center of Venice if you want to save money. For the money it's fantastic.

The room is tiny. I was fine with that, because I mostly wanted to save money. I don't need much space and honestly you will spend most of the day walking around the city anyway, so not a problem for me. Talking with the staff was a bit difficult at times. Even though they list English as one of the languages they know, they always tried to speak Italian with us. Every day, every time we asked about something as if I suddenly learned fluent Italian overnight. We always managed to come to an understanding somehow, it was just annoying. The room was always a bit humid when we arrived - which is normal for hotels in this area, just be prepared. Adjusting the temperature in the room was a bit tricky. There was a heater in the bathroom but even after a week we didn't manage to understand which side to twist the button to make it hotter/cooler. Not a big problem, just know that sometimes you might return to the room and it will feel like a rainforest with the hot and humid air :D These are mostly just nit-picks or some things you have to expect in this location. Overall, the hotel was great.

The best things about this hotel are the location and the value for money (for this location). It's very close to the center but far enough so that it's very quiet and nothing bothers you at night. Yet it's only 5 minutes away from the Rialto bridge, Breakfasts were pleasant, more choices than I got in Florence. Good coffee. There are only a few rooms so even breakfasts are pleasantly calm. The room was always clean, we always got clean towels and the decor was nice.

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Claudio. We arrrived very late at night after delayed flights but access from the ferry point at Fondamented Nova with a code was very straighforward. The room was elegant and quiet; it overlooked typical venitian backstreet courtyards. The breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent metres a wonderful mask shop and the Hospidale (ancient but still in use as the hospital, with water ambulances)

The size of our room was small in comparison to other hotels we stayed at but as long as you calculate that in this boutique hotel is a really good choice.
