Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWe were accidently charged twice for our room but correction was made.
The front desk manager was excellent as he helped us with all our issues. The hotel was directly across the street from the beach. Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent.

IsraelThe food was less than expected. Although more than enough we felt that the quality was just not as we encountered during our first visit. The room we received was certainly due some renovation..
This was our second visit to the hotel. The three things that brought us back were the friendly and helpful staff, the marvelous food and the fact that the hotel is without children under 18. It's just more relaxed without a bunch of kids, playing around your table or around the swimming pool. The staff was still very friendly and there were still no children allowed below 18, but the food was far from what it was a year ago.... But than, where do you find a place where you can have breakfast until 12.00???

NetherlandsMeat dishes greasy and similar, hardly fish, and almost no vegetarian options. On Shabbat no fresh coffee making and limited food options. I don't expect that from an international oriented hotel.
Location, facilities, building, friendly mr Nuriel, much salads and vegetables.

IsraelIf you want to get the best out of the Oasis Spa Hotel, book the Garden rooms, preferably the Garden Suite. They are new and beautifully renovated, and worth the extra money. The Standard and Superior rooms are in the old part of the hotel, and are a bit tired-looking and run-down. Hopefully, they will be getting a facelift soon, to bring them up to the standard of the rest of the place. The spa is wonderful, and the staff at the spa are lovely, and professional. The front desk manager, Alona, is a huge asset to the hotel. We originally booked a Superior room, but when the AC started making noise, Alona arranged for us to move to a Garden room, as soon as one became free.

AustraliaStaff. Grumpy people at reception are not very helpful with information, had loud altercation with clients whilst many people in the lobby. Lady in the Spa also grumpy. Did not feel like going back. Room very tired, old cupboards. The coffee Nespresso machine did not work. When we asked the staffand explainedthe issue, we were provided with more capsules, obviously useless. Pillows were filled with bits of foam. Towels were fairly worn out. No printed information in room with details of facilities. Not much information in English, even lifts were not in an obvious location. We had to ask where breakfast area was. The place has potential but the management and the staff is letting it down.
Location good, across the road from the beach. Nice lobby and pool area, quite airy. Spa available. Good breakfast. Room size adequate. Room and bathroom were clean. Bed comfort was reasonable, pitty about the pillows.

IsraelI can not mention such things, indeed. Thanks!
The rich kitchen, the kind reception, the well maintained hotel - every corner of it - the silent, peaceful days. The unattended bonus (superior room, one dinner as a gift).

AustraliaThe staff in the dining area (the people at the door) were quite rude and unfriendly. Making assumptions we may have already come down for breakfast. It wasn't a nice feeling to be treated this way given we spent money on this accommodation and the breakfast is included. We shouldn't be spoken to rudely when we enter the dining area
The breakfast was very good. Reception lady upgraded us to a superior room and threw in dinner. It was in a great location directly across from the dead sea

United KingdomThe spa and the pool closes at 6:30pm. Far too early. We were even asked to move from our sun beds around the pool as they close the actual area itself. The Hamman AND the wet sauna were broken whilst we were there so unusable. We wanted to visit Masada and no other option but an expensive taxi and the front desk acted like it was the first time this had ever been requested so not very helpful.
Lots of space, comfortable areas to relax, an excellent breakfast
