To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe sofa bed dipped in the middle. We could hear the faint vibrations of the underground train. These didn’t run all night so wasn’t a problem for sleeping but if you’re a light sleeper it could easily wake you up.
Stylish, new hotel. Decent sized room for a family of 4 including a 14 year old & a 10 year old. Staff were welcoming & very helpful. Good rooftop bar with views of Eiffel Tower. Lovely restaurant.

CyprusThe executive suites on the 7th/top floor are spacious for a family of four and offer a fantastic view of the Eiffel tower. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, bakeries in the vicinity, which made our stay even better. It was also very easy to get a taxi. I would stay in this hotel again and I recommend it.

I liked the location as it close to the metro, 30 min walk to the center and it's the opposite of the Police station, so I felt safe. I liked the flexibility of having breakfast when needed The staff was very friendly Most of all I liked that the rooms are audio soundproof.

The location, it's close to the eiffel tower and a few great bakeries. The rooms were quite clean, not perfect but very decent. Room can be a bit small but I guess that this is similar for most places in Paris.

The room advertised that water bottles that is available in the room, where actually is not. Busy hotel, breakfast is a challenge and fight for food. Staff very invisible…during peak hours. I think 3 stars for this hotel is decent as rating..
