Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaWhile small, the room was incredibly neat and was cleaned daily! The reception is open 24/7 and the hotel is in a great location, near a metro station and great places to eat - I highly recommend "Au Coin de Malte" for haute cuisine dinner at a killer price and "Boulangerie Utopie" for great baked goods.

BrazilRoom size was just enough, in my opinion it could be a little big bigger, but that's okay, I understand that it fits the value that we paid for.
The hotel was super honest, a perfect value for money when it comes to location. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for, so don't expect luxury nor big rooms, the room was just enough to fit us + luggage

NetherlandsIt's Paris, all the hotels have small rooms and are overpriced. Besides the beds, the room had just enough space to walk around the bed and store the luggage. The hallways were already optimized by being very narrow. And since children over 2 must have their own bed in Paris, it's difficult to find affordable rooms for a family. This hotel at least had triple rooms.
They responded quickly to my questions that I had before the stay. Check-in was efficiënt, breakfast in the morning often replenished, shower was great. There's parking nearby in Alhambra parking garage, which was convenient, but also turned out to be one of the most expensive parking garages of Paris. Nice neighbourhood.

EstoniaBreakfast is not worth it, very few options (bread, ham/cheese/spreads, juice, yogurt, cereal, coffee machine), you'll get better food from a nearby cafe. The room was very tiny but I was expecting as such - good enough for solo travelers but might be too small for a couple. The doors are very heavy so they might be difficult for guests with impairments.
It is relatively close to metro stations and it's even possible to walk to Notre Dame (about 30 minutes). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Towels were changed every day. There is a small elevator for accessibility and staff 24/7. The free wifi was surprisingly good - mobile reception in the room was poor. Staff was friendly.

UkraineSlippers were not provided which is very inconvenient due to cold floor. There is no place to dry the towels, thought they are changing towels There is no place to put your shower stuff in the shower, had to put everything on the floor
The location is very perfect. A lot of places to eat nearby, subway station right in front of the hotel The district is very good and full of cafes. It is 20 minutes walk of the Notre Dame The stuff is perfect and friendly

United States of AmericaThe hotel did not seem to be very busy but this also means that this was a quiet hotel. The laundry detergent on the bath towels was quite strong from the scent (maybe less detergent and more hot water would work better) but this was a minor issue. The hallways and common areas are on motion sensor lights which helps them save costs and provide affordable room rates. The room was smaller in size but this is a budget hotel and might be typical for Paris.
The budget pricing, the neighborhood felt safe to me even during night time, numerous restaurants and bars are located close by, the Oberkampf metro station is just around the corner, convenient walking distance to many areas of Paris in all directions (about 35 minute walk from Gare du Nord train station), the renovated hotel room including the renovated bathroom was nice, a nice comfortable bed and a nice hot shower, and a 24/7 reception was nice. The hotel reception staff was friendly. I would stay at this hotel again. Thank you for making my Paris trip enjoyable.

United KingdomThere’s not a lot wrong. However my side of the double bed had a huge well in the mattress. That’s been some time in usage for that to happen. Rotation of the mattresses is highly advised please. Please reduce the door closers’s tensions as well, as inevitably guests are trying to pass with suitcases, as this is hard to do with an unforgiving door closing rate. That’s all.
The personal attention; friendly and polite at all times. From owner to receptionists to cleaners.
