“The area is quiet in a small village and I was looking for that. It is nice that there is a small sitting space where you can relax if you don’t want to be in the room all the time.”
“A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

“The house is beautiful, set in a stunning part of Catalunya. The owners live on the site and are incredibly helpful, yet the space we had felt very private and we were able to socialise in the various spaces, have BBQs etc without worrying about disturbing anyone. The property has everything you could need, including dishwasher tablets, hairdryers and more. There's a table tennis table, badminton net and the swimming pool is perfectly maintained!”
