United KingdomIt would be really nice to have a welcome drink. Lobby bar staff had to be chased to bring menu and a bill. These were all minor things but I think attention to details during guest stay could be better.
Breakfast was fantastic! The hotel was also flexible with allowing us to check in a bit earlier which is much appreciated.

All the staff were so lovely. because everyone was so lovely i could not remember everyone's names!! everyone from reception to restaurants to house keeping to pool side were all exceptional. i hope the staff are cared for especially in the heat because to keep smiling in 40 deg heat is something!!

This was my second stay at the RC and I absolutely love it . The hotel is so grand and beautiful, you never want to leave . From check in to check out , everyone is so courteous and professional . The rooms are big and has everything you could possibly want with every amenity you need , there is no need to take anything . Housekeeping is the best there is and leave your room Immaculate. The beds are luxurious with exquisite bed linen . Mini bar , although expensive, complimentary tea, coffee and water complete the experience. The pools are simply stunning with excellent poolside service . This is important to me , as I found with other hotels this is not as good . The RC make it their mission to look after their guests . Poolside assistance the minute your there with towels and a cool bag with bottled water . The waiters sporadically come to you throughout the day with fresh fruit and ice lollies . They even provide sunscreen and aftersun . It’s the little things that matter and the RC definitely goes above and beyond . I find other hotels lack these little things and this is what keeps me wanting to return . It is expensive to stay here , but a high level of service is being maintained constantly and I guess this is what you pay for . Personally this is my hotel for my next visit . Nothing else comes close for location , it’s right on the beach , good restaurants and first class customer service .

United States of AmericaThis hotel is on the older side, however, it is clear that the staff and management tries VERY hard to keep its facilities clean and very well-maintained. My only concern is to change up the towels in the La Beiau lounge, and also the carpet in the bathroom because they have already had its use. Other than that for this hotel's age it's VERY well maintained, and we love coming back here. It was our 3rd time at this property in Dubai.
There was an excellent selection at the breakfast buffet. You should look no further if you plan to stay on JBR since this property has the best beach area. Other resorts on the same beach line have massive amount of people next to each other. In comparison to Ritz Carlton, which has a HUGE and long beach area, where it's very protected by security, so that outside people don't go in, and also all the sunbeds are spread out creating an intimate experience unlike the other resorts on the same beach line. Also, this property has excellent location because once you get off from the Sheikh Zayed Road in the evening you can quickly get to the property without being stuck in traffic for long unlike getting to other hotels that are further.

United KingdomDrinks were quite pricey at the pool bar. Also depending on which barman was on would depend on how a cocktail is made and how much alcohol is added. Although there were beds available around the pool most times, many guests reserved beds and then were not seen for many hours, which needs to be addressed by the hotel.
All staff were fantastic. Executive lounge was a nice way to relax and served a wide selection of foods and drinks.

SwitzerlandAllocation of room was done discriminatory and without explanation nor tolerance. . Position implies traffic jams for most city visits and transfers unless early in the morning. Ritz carlton style as such may seem to some as being a bit outdated or dusted.in this particular destination .
Very nice position at the beach in jumeirah. Ample facilities. Great food at Latin American main beach restaurant and breakfast choices are top notch and comprehensive across cultures. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. And helpful quality valet service. Both at beach and hotel door. Great spa and many pools. Helpful concierge .well kept older hotel. Good also for families but quiet areas are available everywhere.

United KingdomSome things weren't working great in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Hotel layout was a bit confusing (gym was really hidden), spent a lot of time going from one lift to the other. The Italian and European restaurant were really quite mediocre.
Breakfast and a couple of the half board restaurants (Arabic and Asian) were really good. The rooms were large and clean, the amenities mostly good. Pool and general child-friendliness were great. Staff were fantastic for the most part.

United Arab EmiratesIt’s the Ritz, so always a bit pricey, but it is to be expected. Had asked for a valentines decorated room, which was confirmed, but then forgotten. The staff did correct this later, but would have been better if it was done when we arrived instead of at night before we slept. The mattress is too firm for me, but I know everyone has different preferences.
Location is great. Grounds are beautiful. Staff is always friendly. I think it’s worth it to splurge for club level as the lounge is great and always has a variety of foods for mealtime.

United KingdomI honestly did not find fault, The facilities were great and staff outstanding. We used the kids club which was very good and the pools great but the weather was cool but the staff kept dry towels nearby for the children.
From the moment we arrived until we left the hotel ,staff were brilliant. Concierge was fantastic and very helpful. Housekeeping fantastic with attention to detail ,Reception was great and very helpful, Breakfast staff fantastic with the best breakfast in Dubai.
