Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CyprusI emphasized during booking and one more time during check in that I need non-smoking room. Was told that my room is exactly like that. In fact it smelled cigarettes, which they tried to mask with low temperatures of the air conditioner (18 C).

RomaniaThere are many things wrong with this hotel but the biggest issue is the cleanliness, it’s just filthy. Our rooms was very dirty, I think the dirtiest accommodation I have ever stayed in. It seemed like they didn’t used a vacuum cleaner in a veeery long time, as the carpet was in a very bad shape, filthy and stained, the desk was also stained and sticky, dust in the wardrobe and we even found lenjerie from other tourists inside the closet. The hallways and pool area - the same, old and not well maintained. We asked for a bottle opener and a sewing kit and we had to wait like 45 minutes for someone to get us those items. You can see that the hotel may have been nice loooong time ago, but currently it’s a wreck and it’s definitely not worth half the money. Not to mention the location which is very far away from everything - the only thing close is the big mosque, otherwise it’s not worth staying there.
The breakfast had much diversity and it was delicious. Staff is okay. I saw they had some facilities like clubs and bars, I didn’t went so I can’t say anything about them.

IrelandWas charged for 3 people to stay in a double bed. Bed was big but they wouldn’t give us an extra camp bed as part of the room and expectancy for 3 people to stay in the bed. The bed was big but not ideal for the group. Room was very hot on arrival and had to call engineers for fixing.

PortugalThe hotel was a bit far from everything but the taxis in Abu Dhabi are very cheap, only 20 min from the airport.
The staff was very nice. We asked for a late check out and they kindly gave to us. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean, the bathroom was so beautiful. ( with 2 options of bath or shower). Nice swimming pool. The breakfast was very good, they had a chef preparing omelets in front of us.
