The Buffet breakfasts included everything you could possibily be looking forward to. The staff was very friendly and attentive, particularly at the various pools. Meal service was adequate.

Providing free WiFi, a sun terrace with a saltwater swimming pool, meditation pad and garden, Hawaii Island Resort is situated in Naalehu. Loved the natural feel. There were fruit and nut trees you could pick from and a couple adorable dogs! Nice and peaceful, away from the main road. The salt water pool was fun for a nighttime dip and there was coffee and tea available at all times. The location was great. The nights cooled off and made it the perfect temperature without the need for air conditioning. We didn't use many of the amenities, such as the pool table, ping pong table, movie theater room,etc, but we were informed that we could use them.
