POPASUL LU' VODĂ features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Borşa. In the first place the domain is very well arranged and spacious. It was great that has multiple parking lots even though sometimes in the evening it could get quite crowded. The terrace is beautiful and offers lots of places where you can drink or eat(by the pond, in the courtyard with some statues and great lawn, covered...). Another great thing for families is the small kids place where they can spend their time and energy. The personnel was friendly and the rooms were clean. Besides cleanliness the rooms were quite well done, the beds comfortable and we've had even a small terrace with chairs and a small table to enjoy the sun and fresh air.

Set in Moisei, 31 km from The Wooden Church of Ieud, Pensiunea VOX offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was a really pleasant stay. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming. Home cooked food was really good and plentiful. Location is about 30 minute drive out from Borsa which was perfect for our ski trip. There are also a lot of hiking opportunities around during summer time. The sauna and jacuzzi provided relaxing evening after the long day of skiing.

Located in Cavnic, 12 km from The Wooden Church of Budeşti, Royal Alpin Crown provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The location is less than 10 min from the slope which is a big plus for winter sports lovers. The room we stayed in was generous and clean. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, also coffee and tea are provided by the host. Didn’t try the jacuzzi, but the sauna is a good way to finish the day. The host is welcoming, friendly and helpful with our needs. Definitely will return to this wonderful location.

Super, exactly what is needed for an excelent stay, no added trinkets, sufficient space for 2 adults and 2 kids, everything clean and in working order, everythink you need is in walking distance. Add all that to an excelent and helpfull host and you got the perfect place to stay in Baia Mare at an excelent price for all (young/old/family/bussiness).

Situated in Breb, 4.5 km from The Wooden Church of Budeşti, The Village Pension features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. This was our favorite accommodation during 2 weeks in Romania! Exactly as the photos and reviews expressed. It was so relaxing!!! Once we settled in, our hostess Andrada made excellent recommendations. Day one, we strolled through the village then experienced a delicious dinner served at a home in Breb. Second day we explored Merry Cemetery, Museum of Victims of Communism and Barsana Monastery. The evening was magical as we relaxed on the wooden swing, cooked dinner in the tiny, well equipped kitchen and enjoyed a campfire. We were delighted when a family was grazing their sheep in the adjoining field. Such fun watching the children play with our small dog!
